Congrats bc85 and Escapay! Sorry I've been away for 24 hours and couldn't dispatch my compliments earlier. :)

I wasn't really expecting to win the "Most Amusing Member" award. Hmm... maybe next year. Loomis, care to join the losers club? We were both nominated for the same award, and both lost. :P

With the award for Best CD Review, please welcome UD's very own music mogul, Mr. Dave Wadding!

DW: The job of a CD reviewer is not quite as glamorous as it might seem. Sometimes you have to wade through a lot of albums you feel are subpar to get to an album you really truly love. However, our 5 nominees have certainly put their hearts and souls into their reviews which were nominated for the CD Review of the Year award and they are…

Cars: Soundtrack by Luke
Hannah Montana: 2-Disc Special Edition Soundtrack by Luke
The Little Mermaid: 2-Disc Special Edition Soundtrack by Renata Joy
Meet the Robinsons: Soundtrack by Luke
A Musical History of Disneyland: 50th Anniversary by Luke
The Nightmare Before Christmas: 2-Disc Special Edition Soundtrack by Aaron Wallace
Pirates of the Caribbean: Dead Man's Chest: Soundtrack by Aaron Wallace

And, without further adieu, the winner is…

This is Luke's 17th Golden Mickey Award and his second consecutive win for Site CD Review of the Year. This is his second award this year. He has a total of 21 nominations this year.

Congratulations, Luke! I think there was no question that this CD review was destined for recognition, though your other reviews and Renata's were all fantastic as well. Per usual, you covered a really fantastic set with all the detailed description and analysis that it deserves!

Thanks also to Dave Wadding, who provided a very nice speech for this award!

Still to come: Most Intelligent Member of the Year!

-Aaron

I am also nominated for "Kindest/Friendliest Member"

Pretty good music here, but where are the comedians? And I'm not a big fan of Madonna *hides under her seat from MMO and Simba3*, but it's amazing to see her perform.

Oh, what is it that my eyes seem to see entering the hall?
OMG, it's Fozzie Bear, here to entertain us!!
Let's welcome him!!

*applause for Fozzie*

Congrats on your nominations, I noticed you had a good time with Ms. Cyrus when you were Amazing Grace, how did that feel?

Mickey Mouse, Laurel/Hardy, Charlie Chaplin.... Set the standards of entertainment to a whole new level, Chaplin with his wildly popular character, Tramp (not the dog), Laurel and Hardy with their cans of slapsticks. Most of 'em are forgotten nowadays. But, we have a very special presentation of their achievements. *dims the lights* Let's give a moment of silence for comedians like Chaplin, Laurel/Hardy, and the Marx Bros.

Right back at ya, slick.

Also, a big congratulations to the little review that could, Luke's A Musical History of Disneyland: 50th Anniversary. Some said that it would never come to light. Others said it was a mystery best left undiscovered. More still wanted to stuff cats into a bag and throw them in the river. All those people were wrong in different ways. What was right was the power and influence of Luke's A Musical History of Disneyland: 50th Anniversary review. It had style, it had class, it was there - that's how it became the Nanny. Plus, it rocks to see something Disneyland related win an award.

By the way, I was having a chat with Jack - Jack Nicholson, that is - between awards, and he seems to think that this is possibly the longest awards ceremony he has ever been to. He didn't think it was possible to go on longer than the Oscars, but here we are...
