How do you think TTA compares with "Underneath" and "The Walk"?!? It's my favorite...I haven't had "The Walk" long enough to consider it as much a favorite as TTA, but TTA has had a lot of meaning in my life...

I haven't had a chance to listen to the TTA album yet. I'll let you know when I do. I've had the "This Time Around" CD single since it came out but just now got around to getting the album. I'm anxious to sit down and listen to it start to finish.

I've now got Middle of Nowhere, This Time Around, Snowed In, Underneath, The Walk, and the "TTA" single. I guess that's the primary Hanson canon. On to the live stuff next.

Well, in order, there's "3 Car Garage" (1998), which is a rerelease of all but 3 songs from their 1996 indie album. Then "Live From Albertane" (1998), "Underneath Acoustic" (2003) (which is only sold on Hanson.net, unless you use eBay or Amazon or Half.com). Then "The Best Of- Live and Electric" (2005). "Middle of Nowhere Acoustic" just came out last month- earlier in 2007, they redid all the MON songs, but I haven't even bought that yet (it's about $25 on Hanson.net).

Yeah, I think the live stuff is my next priority, and then I'll move onto the indie stuff. Middle of Nowhere acoustic, though?? :o That might move to the front of the pack. I have to get Underneath Acoustic and Underneath Acoustic Live (which are two different things, right?) as well.

"Underneath Acoustic" is a CD, and "Underneath Acoustic Live" is an awesome DVD. If you do get "Underneath Acoustic", make sure you continue listening to the CD for the bonus track.

Two questions, Amy:

(1) Do you know why they left off "Thinking of You", "Speechless", and "With You in Your Dreams"?

(2) The hanson.net home page says that the album is available for "pre-order"... do you know when it actually releases/ships?

That's news to me, Aaron- I didn't know that they excluded songs. I know that they're hyping the fact that "Yearbook" is on there, since they hadn't performed it in 10 years. And, I had read that the album was supposed to come out around December 13th, so I don't know if they just haven't updated their website or if they pushed back the date.

Sorry I can't be too much help! :( I'll research on the H-net forums and see if anyone is talking about this and get back to you!

*edit* The box on the homepage says "Order Now", not "Pre-Order Now"- if you get to the site from your Favorites pull-down menu, maybe try to just type in www.hanson.net, and it'll be the refreshed page, maybe?

*edit again* This link is where people are talking about how they haven't received their MONA yet:
http://www.hanson.net/areopagus/hanson/ ... view/45897
Some people have received their copies, and some haven't. Welcome to the world of ordering off of Hanson.net.

So, I'd say that if you want it, order it, but it may (or may not) take a while to get to you. But it's definitely being sold and shipped now. :)

(Sorry for turning this into a Hanson thread, everyone! Back to your regularly scheduled programming, at least until Aaron posts back...!)
