yes, it was honored because our friend did it for us...manually that is. But still the manager honored it.

I was using the same coupon for "buy 2 DVDs, save $5.00" and the girl at the cash register had to do it manually too. Why doesn't this stupid coupon work like it's supposed too? At least they took it this time. I originally tried to use it on the three Studio Ghibli movies in February, but it didn't work and they told me it was because the movies were on sale ($17.99 for release week).
msadrakula, does the coupon work automatically for you, or do they have to do it manually too?
And those people they've got working at Best Buy are as dumb as rocks.
The coupon normally works for me automatically; however certain movies like Studio Ghibli, Miracle, Pirates of the Carribbean and a couple others are not coded correctly as Disney movies at Best Buy so that don't qualify for the coupon according to the register.
Just because a movie is on sale doesn't mean it doesn't qualify, it doesn't mention anything about on sale DVD's on the coupon. I'm going tonight to get Pocahontas and National Treasure and I'm guessing that National Treasure won't be coded correctly. So I'll have to argue and fight over the matter.

Hey! No fair! I opened mine too already. You silly goose, that's why you need to have your phone on so I can tell you. What came inside of yours? I was rather disappointed to not get as many inserts as your Bambi DVD had. Mine only had the small one page DVD chapter guide (just as meager looking as the Alice one) and coupons for Princess stuff and I think Kim Possible and Tarzan II advertisements.
Also, I noticed on the Pocahontas DVD, there is no wretched FastPlay or EasyFind icons

! I wonder why they put it on Bambi (released in March) and not for Pocahontas. Does this mean that silly thing is over now?

I think that only means that the "Pocahontas" DVD was ready long before the EasyFind system adopted, and they just didn't bother to uptade it.

Yes they are. I can't stand going to a "new" cashier who wasn't working there last year.
I prefer having our friend be our cashier...so it means we won't, I mean..
I won't have to argue with someone new.
BB has to fix their computer or something.
But I guess they make up for it this week by offering us RZ members 10,000 points.

I got it at Circuit City for $19.99

Sears is becoming my favorite place to buy DVD's. Circuit City and Best Buy are a half hour away and the Walmart here prices all new releases at 19.88. While Sears doesn't have a good selection on older stuff, they get most of the big name new releases. I bought National Treasure, Phantom of the Opera, and Pocahontas yesterday at Sears and each was 15.99.

Sears has it on sale for $15.99 first week it hits the floor. ANY of the other box stores WILL price match that as well. If you bring in the add or info from the website from Sears into like Best Buy, Circuit City or Walmart & point out its cheaper @ Sears-they will price match & u can get it for the cheapest price.

Bestbuy for $16.99, 10,000 bonus points, plus 1699 points for the purchase itself, $5 reward coupon for the points eventually equals out to $11.99

Well, I got Pocahontas for $11.02, That Darn Cat and Summer Magic for $11.24 and National Treasure for $9.99.
I used the $15 off coupon for Best Buy and some price matching. One negative however was that the computers/checkout idiots didn't count National Treasure or In Search of the Castaways as Disney movies to count towards the coupon?
I've also noticed that most of the $14.99 DVD that they have in the stores don't ring up right.

Best buy is notorious for that.. They will put a lower price sticker on the movies, but never update the computers.. I would say in the past 3 months, I've had to correct them when the sticker says 14.99 or 16.99 and they ring it up 24.99 .. I think they do it in hopes the customer doesn't notice.

I was hoping this would be cheaper than $20 somewhere around my neighborhood. But sadly, since no one has it cheaper than that I will just have to wait to buy this one.

Sales tax is OUTRAGEOUS in TN so I am sort of boycotting any purchases over $15 if I can help it. Maybe it will go on sale in the next few weeks.

I bought mine last night at
Target and it was priced at
$19.99. I thought it was a little too high but I was exchanging another DVD so it ended up being only a few dollars.

My walmart had it for $19.84! I wiould have gotten it there had it been cheaper
I got it at Shopko for $18.99 I didn't want to pay that much, but I wanted it under $20. I was really miffed that Best Buy and Circuit City were BOTH charging $19.99. Best Buy DID have a bonus 10,000 Reward Zone points, but I didn't think it'd be worth it.
Its really bad when I have to buy a movie at Shopko. I would have preferred to buy it at Walmart

sorry for posting twice in a row.......but you're so lucky! Did Best Buy price match your DVD purchase? Because my best buy's ad said $19.99
I have a $10 reward coupon for Best Buy, but I'm saving it for something else.

I totally had that happen to me this week. I bought Poca and 2 Wave 2 Ghiblis (Nausicaa and The Cat Returns) and both the Ghiblis were the only 2 out of all the ones I was looking at marked $19.99 and the rest were marked $28.99...and hey, they rang up $28.99

Is $26.99 a Good Buy for Lady and the Tramp 2?
