Well It's nothing to do with any of Disney's LM stuff, that's obvious from the price, so yes I would assume it would be the anime.

Cool, I wasn't sure if it'd be one of the cheap imitations that seem to float around supermarkets, but with the large amount of Japanese names on the credits, I thought it could've been. I'm glad it is, I've always wanted to see it

Yeah, but the real question is, will it be 16x9 enhanced? The region 1 DVD is also 2.35 letterboxed and looks mighty poor projected on a hugh screen.
*edit* and by the way, region 2 Disney DVDs are notorious for not noting on the packaging whether or not they are anamorphic!!!

Well the news is in as far as
That Darn Cat! is concerned.
It is anamorphic widescreen.
I've posted the images in this thread:

Cover art released for 'Only Yesterday' number 14

Just a head's up to say I have actually received my copy of Follow Me Boys! today after finding it online for $4.89. Anyway, the back of the cover does state 126 mins, so that means all of the online retailers with 114 mins must be getting their information from some other source. The same goes for the incorrect running times for the other recent releases such as That Darn Cat! and The Great Locomotive Chase.

Does the merchant you used ship to the US and are they reputable? I'm still trying to find all the recent UK releases at decent prices. Amazon "Marketplace" has some low prices, but there's just too much risk dealing with those merchants.

I got it from ASDA (the UK name for Wal Mart) but they do not ship to the US, neither do Play.
There is one site I stumbled across the other day which claims free worldwide delivery, but I haven't ordered anything from them yet:

Ichabod, initially I was very excited about this link because they are offering "Follow Me, Boys" and "That Darn Cat" for $11.04 US each including shipping. I managed to create an account with them, but every time I tried to complete the order, I got an error and the order wouldn't go through. Also I had trouble when dropping items in my basket to be a uniform currency. Even though I had selected "display prices in US dollars" it would still have one item in US$ and the other item in British pounds and add the two different currencies together! Needless to say, none of this inspired confidence in me, so I gave up trying to order through this merchant.

Well slip me a fish and call it wanda!
Greyfriars Bobby has been rereleased and it's slipped by us all! This must mean sales of the previous release were good as that was only released 2 years ago, but then Greyfriars Bobby seems to be more well known and remembered in the UK, than it does in the US.
I wonder if it has an improved transfer? The cover states 'widescreen format: 1.33:1', BVHE UK brilliant as per
And before anyone asks here's the old cover for the sake of comparison.

Thanks, Ichabod. You have been very helpful. I just successfully completed an order through Blah.
As for Greyfriars Bobby, I'll bet that is simply a repackaging of the existing disc. It is so rare for Disney to upgrade catalog titles. Some of the Anchor Bay releases were upgraded with new transfers when they got a "Disney Label" release. But apart from the Animated classics, Mary Poppins, and the Absent-Minded Professor, I can't think of any Disney catalog upgrades. "Widescreen" is probably a misprint. Especially considering it says Widescreen 1.33:1
