Beauty isn't it?
And about the discs? see this pic UK is definatly having the 2 discs and as far for the netherlands: they do everything the uk does so i bet we'll get it to. Because they know that other wise we'll burry them. Ooh and for al you dtch people Alice in wonderland has a 2 discs ad on freerecordshop.nl check under pre-order!
Thanks for posting but BLECH! Not a very nice cover. I'm not fond of floating heads and it looks like Bambi's head is sprouting from nowhere. I like the R1 cover better even though that's not even spectacular.

Those are some stunning menus. I think I mentioned that before already but it may have been lost.

i was at the mall tonight at the Wherehouse Music and they are already advertising Bambi Platinum Edition for a March release.
for those of you who are Not counting, Bambi is now about 68 Days Away or just alittle over 2 months now, i can not believe that it is just so close to the day, wow.
Which one is the REAL cover art?

I found a few variations of the Platinum cover art for Bambi, i was just wondeirng which one is confirmed?
Number 1 is from amazon and is the one chose for on UD's page for it.
Number 2 was the second most recent. This was the first look at it right?
and the third was included along with Cinderella on a flyer in the Aladdin platinum.
Here they are:
1.
2.
It's a big image, click here.
3.

I don't really like the one in the aladdin flyer, but im pretty sure its the older one so im not too worried

I believe number one is the final artwork of Bambi. I'm with Luke all the way he hasn't been wrong about Disney's art covers so I'm 100% sure that the final art work is number one.

I'm pretty sure #1 will be close to (if not actually) the final cover. #2 is just the usual concept cover where Disney takes clipart off of an old VHS release as a sort of place holder for what goes where. #3 could be possible, but that came a while before #1, and usually the newest version is the final cover.

Not too crazy about the cover. i would have like darker tones, more like the english one.

I don't like Bambi's floating head on the English cover, but I do like the winter scene in the background.
Other than that, I like #1 the best (which I also believe to be the most accurate).

Wow... the UK Bambi cover is so... cutesy; just wanna pinch his wittle cheeks! (Bambi's head is humongous, though, geez.)
That said, I prefer the U.S.'s #1 cover and hope that's the one they use. :>

I too like the #1 cover art the best, and I think it's the one that will be used in March.

I can't wait! I haven't seen Bambi in years!
I just love anticipating Disney Movies!

I think the R2 cover is the best. I don't mind the floating head, Bambi is just so cute and beautiful in that. And the colors are brilliant. R1 cover looks more dumb to me...

So is the R2 cover definatly going too be that?
I just presumed it was going too be the same??

I'm sure it is, or that's the cover they've been using on the Finnish BuenaVista site if I remember correctly.
I prefer it much more than the one which is bein released in US, Bambi's floating head doesn't even look like a floating head to me. The only problem with the R2 cover is that there's a bit too much things on it, but it doesn't disturb me.

The US cover art is imitating the structure of the Lion King cover art, and the UK cover art is a "filtered" version of that... I like the UK one better, as they are using a better color palette and a more recognizable logo...

Its just that Aladdin was the same for both R1 and R2 so i thought this would be too.
Ah well we will just have too wait and see.....although i cant wait for bambi!!

I can hardly even remember the story as its been about 10 years since i seen it...

Yeah, actually, if you look it like that, it really looks like the Lion King cover. Only Pride Rock is missing.

But in The Lion King, the logo didn't have any frames just a black rectangle looked pretty dumb, if you ask me.

That's a winter scene?! I always thought it was a waterfall.
Personally, I like our UK cover the best, but my idea for a better cover is as followed. The title in the little box as on the UK cover is still in the middle, but at the bottom, I like the idea of seeing the scene where Bambi's nose is touching Flower's nose as he rises out of the flowers with Thumber at the side thrown in for good measure. There's a bit of grass at the side and it blends into the top of the cover with the stag overlooking the woods.

I thought it was that Great Prince overlooking the aftermath of the fire on the forest. But I could be wrong.
If it is a winter scene, it doesnt make much sense putting Bambi & co in a foreground summer scene, with GP in the background during winter, IMO.

Hm... I don't think the R1 cover is trying to emulate The Lion King's DVD cover.
Bambi, Thumper, and Flower are all scaled down to fit in the cover but the fawn looks proportionately larger than the skunk and rabbit. The cover in fact looks more like a snapshot taken in the forest (with a bit of posing, of course) than anything else.

At first I liked the uk cover more, but now by taking a good look. I find them both nice, I only don't like the US logo. But I wouldn't be surprised if the european cover will be the same as the us version . We had have before 2 covers for the lion king 2 the us version and the european version, but in the end the european version was the same as the us. at least here in holland that is.
