WOW, everyone here have great collections! :)

Besides the DVD's, do you guys still keep your Disney VHS collections? I still have mine and I keep them together with the DVD's. I will take some photos and place them here. Right now I took a picture of my "Cinderella" VHS tapes. These are the 3 "Cinderella" videos that were ever released in Brazil. The left one was released in 1992, the one in the middle was a very limited edition released in 1999 called "Special Edition". The last video in the picture was the last one released in 1999 too. Buena Vista repleaced the "Special Edition" for it.

I guess you can see that "Cinderella" is one of my preffered Disney classics

Yeah, we still keep our VHS's here. Don't have the heart to throw them away or sell them, I guess.

Same here, I tried watching my Tarzan one, turned it off after 5 minutes and bought the CE DVD. What a difference.

Well, since we don't have the option yet of buying Cinderella on DVD, I think we'll stick with our 16-year old VHS for now...

Besides, sometimes it's a comfort to be able to stick in an old VHS tape and remember when. Like tonight, I was watching The Return of Jafar, and it not only had the theatrical trailer for The Lion King (the trailer's not anywhere on the DVDs), but it had a home video trailer for Nightmare before Christmas and a home video trailer for Snow White. Also, the grain is kinda nice on our Cinderella VHS. I guess because we grew up with it and never saw a "cleaned up" restored copy.

And I don't want to keep babbling on, but I kinda like the P&S VHS's we have of some movies (namely my Star Trek movies). I grew up watching them in P&S, so while it does cut off picture, the shots seem a bit more...intimate when it's close up. Nowadays, though, I'll naturally watch the DVD if I want to watch a Star Trek movie, but sometimes just for sheer nostalgia, I'll put in the P&S VHS that I grew up with.

Your collection is really beautiful Anaël :o , and I didn't even know there is a 2-disc edition for "Anastasia". Could you please tell me if there is any music video of the singer THALIA in this 2-disc "Anastasia" DVD? Thalia recorded the video for Anastasia's "Journey To The Past" in English, Spanish and Portuguese.

There isn't any video clip on this edition but it seems to an old book : blue velvet with some gilts for the movie's title. ;)

It's true ! French editions often are very gorgeous. I'm very meticulous so this is why my DVDs seem like news :P

I like how the Disney DVDs in France have numbers on them! It helps a lot to keep track of what titles you are missing. Cool collection Anael! :)

But I saw you're missing Hercules, The Black Cauldron and The Sword in the Stone... you do have them or just don't want them?

I really don´t like the numbers on the spine, they put them all wrong! and it´s a mess to have a classic 64 already, wich is some Pooh little tv movie...I don´t know but that´s my opinion.

Oh my goodness! I am so jealous. My husband thinks that I have a lot of dvds and I only have 137. (25 of those are my disney dvds). I loved PaPa Bears sign, I feel the same way about my dvds especially my disney ones. I might have to make myself a sign like that.

It must be my turn. Here's a picture of the entire collection. The Disney DVD's are on the bottom shelf... the biggest shelf!!
