Watched this today and I really loved it. It was cute and Cinderella was a nice cameo and she gave some really sweet advice and her song was really quite sad.
Can't wait for more but we are not getting anything more til March. I hate being so far behind America. I mean... America got the opening episode/ movie Nov 18th and it's now Feb. Sigh.

I can't watch any episode on line because we have direct tv. I keep missing the episodes on tv.

And how, if you don't mind me asking, does that relate to each other? You are making it sound like you can't watch any episodes online because Direct TV blocks it. Or are you trying to say that because you have Direct TV you rather see it on TV but you miss it.

The Disney Jr. Live on Stage show has been updated to include Sofia. Here is a video of it:

I thought Sofia was meant to be the opposite of that ?

Well, that's how this show is supposed to be: interact with the young audience. Handy Manny was also like that, even though the show was completely different.

Goodness, I didnt know she was a meet and greet character ? Is this a temporary situation, or permanent?

Well, from what I read, Handy Manny will be retired since the show now focuses on Sofia and McStuffins, and Sofia will likely take his place, so now it will be Jake and Sofia. That has always been the norm. For a while, you could meet Jojo and Goliath, then the Little Einsteins

On itunes they released all songs including ones that has yet to come out. I brought and listened to them. They're really good so I recommend looking forward to the future episodes.

That Disneyland Sofia looks damn scary.
This character has absolutely no personality beyond profiting further from the Disney princess brand. Completely pointless.

You obviously haven't seen the show, have you?

Most stuff nowadays are made for that purpose, but doesn't automatically mean the product will suck. I, as well as Pap64(to my surprise too), can say that this show isn't some cookie cutter series like the other DisneyJunior shows. It treats it's children audience with respect and intelligent with how the show's outcome is presented unlike those other princess merchandise. It has an almost classical Disney charm to it, even to my surprise.

I agree SA. This is at least on the same level as Jake and the Neverland Pirates, which is great. It resonates with the audience it is intended for, and I think it will continue to be a big hit the same way Jake has been. Sophia is a great little role model for little girls.

The animation in Sofia the First is abysmal. At least Jake & the Never Land Pirates is more visually appealing. Proof that low-budget 2D looks better than low-budget CG.

I've seen it and disagree. I don't think the character or the show has personality at all.
