So these are the DVDs I got for my birthday:

Classic Caballeros Collection

National Treasure (one disc and fullscreen...)

National Treasure 2: Book of Secrets- Collector's Edition

Indiana Jones: Adventure Collection (basically, its the three special edition DVDs in a box set, but the cases are like the slim ones used for TV sets)

Bewitched- The Complete Third Season

Bewitched- The Complete Fourth Season

And I also ordered:

Bewitched- The Complete Second Season (B&W) (they didn't have B&W at my Barnes and Noble)

Just Shoot Me!- Seasons One and Two

It's been a while since I've posted any of my purchases, and there's no way I'll be able to remember them all. I'll just post some of my latest and greatest.

Jurassic Park - Adventure Pack

Greek - Chapter One

Gilmore Girls - The Complete First Season

Sex and the City - The Complete Second Season

I've yet to watch Greek and Gilmore Girls, which were both blind buys at the recommendation of a friend. I've watched the Jurassic Park set about a thousand times already (What can I say? I'm in love). And I'm about halfway through the Sex and the City set, which (being a new fan and all) is LOADS of fun.

Why didn't you get (or if money was tight wait to get) the big pink box of everything?

The Incredibles=

10 Dollars each at a pawn shop last week. All of them look like they've never been watched. Excellent buy as far as I'm concerned.

Eh, I thought about it. I know it would have been cheaper in the long-run, but I don't plan on buying them all back-to-back anyway.

Plus, that big pink box would be murder to store somewhere. That's one of the troubles with custom-designed Complete Series boxsets. It can look awkward on a crowded shelf. I've taken to storing my I Love Lucy CS boxset on the lower shelf and having all the DVDs just in a binder, it keeps the box from constantly being dragged out and makes for easier access to the discs. I shudder to think what I'll do when I eventually get the Star Trek TNG boxset or the Friends boxset (though I've got half the seasons on DVD, so I'll probably just buy the other seasons separately)...

Prince Ali, just wanted to say welcome to the world of Sex and the City!!! I borrowed the complete series from a friend 3 weeks ago so I could watch it all and I finished it just in time for the movie, which was also amazing!!! Hope you get caught up in time to watch the movie in the theatre, it's a must for SATC fans!

Good luck! :)

Thanks, plinkster! ;)

I actually already saw the movie, but I had seen various episodes of the series before I became a fan. Even if I hadn't, it's been talked about so much on TV and such lately, I already know just about everything that happens to the girls throughout the series. :P I was a bit disappointed that I didn't get to finish the entire show beforehand, but I understood the film just fine.
