So, my head was hit. Not 'I hit my head.' 'My head was hit' by an accident on Thursday night. I'm not daft enough to hit my own head. Let's just say that the sharpness of wooden bookshelves can be used for evil.

To make a long story short, I had a concussion. It weakened the rest of my system, particularly my neurosystem, and I will probably have to miss early Thanksgiving banquets of tomorrow that I planned. This bothers me so much. I can't afford to miss the rest of the Thanksgiving week, and I certainly can't afford to miss my best friend's birthday, which is next Saturday. I am exceedingly disappointed with myself.

Sorry Prudie hope you get well soon, we don't have Thanksgiving in the Emirates,we don't have as much occasions as the US which is degrading because I need to find a reason to smile with someone more often.

Ah well..... I guess I can always make a tea party and celebrate my unbirthday with my cats. (whom I doubt would think I'm crazy !) :P

HAPPY THANKSGIVING UD !!!!

AND HAPPY UN-BIRTHDAY* !!!! :P :P

*HAPPY BIRTHDAY TO ANYONE WHO IS NOT HAVING AN UNBIRTHDAY TODAY.

Mm-kay. I'm in the middle of some interesting weeks.

Let's play a little guessing game. Who is the first animated character I was ever compared to?

Here are your hints:
- I was born in 1990
- The character is a Disney character
- The character was best known when I was around her age

Well Disney made two animated features in 1990, The Rescuers Down Under and Ducktales: The Movie, and since both don't have any original female characters, they're no good. Talespin premired that year and was the only new catoon show of tha year so my guess would be whoever the woman in that show was?

Melody from The Little Mermaid 2?

I should mention that this character is not in any movie, so there hasn't been a guess anywhere close to right. She was in a television series.

Gosolyn from Darkwing Duck?

No, but you're getting a bit closer. As another hint, her first and last name start with the same letter as my name.

That completely gave it away.

Hmmmm I'd have to guess either Peg Pete (Goof Troop), Pistol Pete (Goof Troop) or Pepper Ann Pearson.

I wasn't around Peg's age! As for Pepper Ann, I was closer to the age of her little sister (Moose) when the show aired- and no one said I was like Margaret Rose "Moose" Pearson.

You were correct when you guessed Pistol. To quote,
"The little Goof Troop girl, the one who's hyper and smart?"
"Pistol Pete?"
"That's her. This little girl" - points to me - "is just like her."
"Oh yeah, she is!"
I think I was three or four. I can't remember the names of the people who said these things, though. Heh. They were pretty spot-on!

Did you know that Pistol grew up to be Prudence? :brick:

This probably should go in the rant thread, but it is babble...

Why do teachers give us homework over Thanksgiving break? Papers even...it's annoying. And stressful. :(

Because the semester is coming to an end, and we need to complete the assignments on each syllabus. :P

Flanger-Hanger, can you e-mail me? There's no other way I can contact you, and I definitely want to.

O.k. but you'll have to post your email adress on this thread (and then remove it when you get the email) since I can't get the email shortcut to work and I'm not allowed to send private messages.

Also, what do you want to talk about?

On second thought, Here's my email: hitchhikingghost7(at)yahoo(dot)com

Me: "Love?"

I hate my neighbors. Everyday they go thundering up and down the stairs from 7am until 11pm, now in order to get to the driveway they have to go past my apartment to get to the stairwell down, thats fine but it's just so freaking constant and so loud that I want to do very bad things to them  Of course it gets better when the kid next door runs up and down with his friends when they get bored as well. I've asked the landlord to to talk the them but so far nothing
