I think the new logo is rather nice. I like it, and I didn't know it would be placed before POTC 2, so I was in for a huge surprise!

I can't believe television sucks so badly in Malta. You're still able to view your DVDs in their full, original, high quality, right?Julian Carter wrote:I'm afraid I can't watch it...

Yes, it is, but I feel very sorry for you if you don't have BBC World.Julian Carter wrote:

BBC World is available from Melita, but at a very high price!drnilescrane wrote:Yes, it is, but I feel very sorry for you if you don't have BBC World.Julian Carter wrote:

Julian, remind me nearer the 2007 contest, and I'll record and make you a DVD! Anything to let Julian hear Terry Wogan!Julian Carter wrote:PS: The regular BBC channel is also available... wish I had it...I could watch Eurovision on that instead of TVM (Televison Malta) and finally get to hear the infamous Terry Wogan.

I'm a bit confused about what you are saying. Are these digital channels through an arial?
Yes they do. They had a silver logo with a siren.Disney_fanatic wrote:I can't wait to see this logo in the theater. I have been very excited since I first heard about it a while back. I know Disney went all out with an orchestra and everything for this logo. Speaking of special logos, didn't The Lizzie McGuire Movie have a special logo?
In NZ we have BBC World (I'm guessing it's BBC World, because it popups with BBC World) and it's free to watch, providing what you want to watch is on between 12:00 am and 6:00 am. I quite like Talking Movies and the World Debate program is sometimes interesting too.Julian Carter wrote:PS: The regular BBC channel is also available... wish I had it...I could watch Eurovision on that instead of TVM (Televison Malta) and finally get to hear the infamous Terry Wogan.
Thanks, but I haven't really left, just posted less I guess. There's probably posts that you've missed, but I do believe there was a period lately where I was just reading posts and didn't have any input, it was probably longer than I realised.Julian Carter wrote:I'm going a bit off topic but I want to say a BIG hello to Hogi Bear.![]()
I haven't seen you for ages. Where have you been!? I'm glad you're back with us...and with your same creepy insect avatar that you've had as far as I can remember since last March...
He is probably talking about BBC Prime, the entertainment channel for Europe/Africa/Asia, rather than World or One/Two/Three/Four/etc..Hogi Bear wrote:In NZ we have BBC World (I'm guessing it's BBC World, because it popups with BBC World) and it's free to watch, providing what you want to watch is on between 12:00 am and 6:00 am. In NZ our Buena Vista TV logo is the old BV Sleeping Beauty castle, but has been revamped with sort of a water shimmering affect (I think), with (c) Disney.
I haven't seen Dead Man's Chest yet, so I'm really looking forward to seeing it and the new logo soon.
Actually, if you're willing to pay, in Malta you can get both BBC Prime and BBC World.drnilescrane wrote:He is probably talking about BBC Prime, the entertainment channel for Europe/Africa/Asia, rather than World or One/Two/Three/Four/etc..
And if your not, just get yourself a VERY big dish and you can get the channels straight from FTA sateliete.Julian Carter wrote:Actually, if you're willing to pay, in Malta you can get both BBC Prime and BBC World.drnilescrane wrote:He is probably talking about BBC Prime, the entertainment channel for Europe/Africa/Asia, rather than World or One/Two/Three/Four/etc..
That's even more expensive. Because you have to pay a humongous amount of money every year with some sort of card. (I have no idea how it works). About ten years ago, a lot of people in Malta were getting Satellite, but now there aren't much left as the costs are high.drnilescrane wrote:And if your not, just get yourself a VERY big dish and you can get the channels straight from FTA sateliete.Julian Carter wrote: Actually, if you're willing to pay, in Malta you can get both BBC Prime and BBC World.
Aren't the BBC and ITV on Free To Air Sat?Julian Carter wrote:That's even more expensive. Because you have to pay a humongous amount of money every year with some sort of card.
