Yeah, I agree. That's such a cool costume! very 80's fantasy looking, I love it.

The villainess has a stunning look. I love her already. Hmm....she almost resembles Captain Amelia a bit. Amelia's hair was originally black.

I was a bit surprised to see in a USA Today article that originally it was optioned as a racy, raunchy, R-rated animated spoof and then got retooled for family consumption. That seems a bit odd to me....
Cheers,
JM

www.animated-news.com :
Princess Tiana and the Frog?
Disney Central Plaza relays the word that according to the blog A-List Magazine, much of the public information regarding the characters in Disney’s The Princess and the Frog is “incorrect.” Regarding the cast sheet that surfaced last November, a studio source explains, “When we do casting calls we frequently use substitute information as we don’t want details out about the movies.” Furthermore, it has been unveiled that the movie’s central character is a young girl named Princess Tiana, rather than Maddy, with the story taking place in New Orleans’ fabled French Quarter during the Jazz Age.

Tiana is such a prettier name, at any rate. No offense to anyone named Maddy.

A trailer for Enchanted and National Treasure: Book of Secrets will debut with At World's End. It's what I heard. The Game Plan and Underdog will also be attached.
I have no link yet, I will as soon as I find something that confirms it.

Maybe because the animation is from Baxter Animation Studios and not from Disney Studios? I don't know, it's just a guess.
