I saw the post in the "What are you buying 5/3" thread that said Sears had it for $15.99. I have a Sears across the street and bought it for that price at the store. It wasn't labeled "On Sale" or "$15.99" but it rang up at that price. :) I'm very happy now.

Oh that's good. I got it at for $19.99 at Target because I my friends and I were going there already. We took the AP Calculus test today and since we didn't have to go back to school, we decided to go to Target. We're so lame.

Well, I've had the UK edition for a few months now, and I got that for £15.99 off www.play.com. That accounts to around $30 (US, by the way). DVDs are far more expensive this side of the Atlantic, aren't they?

I went to Suncoast and bought it for $19.99. And that, my friends, is the price tag when it is on sale. I went to Target aftewards, but I didn't check the pricing on Pocahontas (or on National Treasure) to compare the two. Although, I do know Suncoast is a tad more $$$ than Target.

Did you just go to the websites or the actual stores? New release DVDs are usually cheaper in stores than online. Try checking the actual stores.

I actually went to Wal-Mart, Target and Sears and the prices I quoted were in the store, not the on-line price. The Best Buy and Circuit City prices were from on-line but they usally have the same price in the store as on line since they have in-store-pick-up. I agree, most times the online price at Wal-mart and Target are more than the store on release day. Not this time though. At least here in Denver.

Nebraska Furniture Mart had Pocahontas for $14.77 and National Treasure for $9.99 !!!

I'm think about going to Best Buy and having them price match it so I can get $5.00 off with my gift card coupon and get the 10,000 reward points also. Not too bad both movies for under $20.00 plus the extra reward points.

I picked mine up from Target and it was $19.99 also. I'm glad I'm not the only one who noticed that it was $5 more than Disney DVD's are when they first come out. I was kind of upset. :(

Is there going to be a thread to talk about the movie or is this it?

I got mine at Blockbuster for about $19 w/tax because my friend gets 20%-off employee discount. It's a crying shame that they didn't honor the save $5 with 2 Disney DVD purchases coupon. :/

Well, it doesn't matter. The DVD was a bit pricy in comparison to other new Disney DVD releases but it's my favorite Disney movie so... not gonna burst into tears or anything over a tiny bit of overspending. d:

ahh, this is a very weird forum.
we talk about DVD cover, DVD slipcover, DVD pricing, and only sometimes do we talk about the actual movie. ;)

Ok, shall I tell my price?
$9.99. That's nine dollars and ninety-nine cents.
here's how:

We bought the following DISNEY movies today-- National Treasure, Pocahontas, Confessions of a Teenage Drama Queen, and Classic Favorites starring Chip & Dale.

National Treasure had a price match of $13.99
Pocahontas had a price match of $14.99
Confessions was $10.00
Classic Favorites was $9.99

bumbadabump--> Disney's Wonderful Coupon at Best Buy; "buy 4 DVDs, save $15.00"

yes, it was honored because our friend did it for us...manually that is. But still the manager honored it. :)

So final pricing..
National Treasure + Bonus Disc = $13.99
Pocahontas = $9.99
Confessions with Lohan = $5.00
Classic Chip & Dale = $4.99

I bought Pocahontas at Best Buy for 19.99 Canadian which is about 15.94 US. I'll probably watch it tomorrow as well as Heidi.

I was having trouble finding Heidi so I phoned Best Buy in Langley and they put it on hold for me and I'm picking it up tomorrow. It's 18.99 Canadian. The Langley Best Buy is the largest in the Lower Mainland. I also bought Monsters, Inc.

I was using the same coupon for "buy 2 DVDs, save $5.00" and the girl at the cash register had to do it manually too. Why doesn't this stupid coupon work like it's supposed too? At least they took it this time. I originally tried to use it on the three Studio Ghibli movies in February, but it didn't work and they told me it was because the movies were on sale ($17.99 for release week).

msadrakula, does the coupon work automatically for you, or do they have to do it manually too?

And those people they've got working at Best Buy are as dumb as rocks.

Darn it Kram! Now we have two copies again! And I opened mine and watched it last night, so I can't return it, hahaha.

As for me, it was $19.99 at all the merchandising places, but with the CM 10% discount on DVDs, I only payed about $19. What sucked though was I should've waited till I bought National Treasure at another merchandising place, cause the CM there gave me the standard 20% instead of 10%, so I payed only $17 for National Treasure, and if I had bought Pocahontas at the same time, I'd have saved two bucks.
