The Corpse Bride
The cash register asked me about the movie because it was the second she sold today; the second today but plenty on Tuesday. There where 2 empty racks already.
....and yesterday on every store I went the widescreen version was already sold out or about to.

JiminyCrick, I know it is your money and your choice, but I wouldn't have wasted it on "Inspector Clouseau", "Curse of Pink Panther" or "Son of Pink Panther". Those are really not in any way associated with the "Pink Panther" movies that we all know and love. When Peter Sellers died, so did the franchise and the only one of the 'after' releases that was worth buying was "trail of the Pink Panther". But that is only my opinion. And it is your money.
Beat you on "Pink Panther Cartoon Collection Box Set", I got mine for $29.99 at Best Buy using a price match with Target and a $10 gift certificate.

Well I know but I wanted to have 'em all! MAHAHAHAHA! Anyway, I did in fact like Inspector Clouseau. I thought "Curse" was good but I disappointed in H. Lom (and I was/am confused about if
Clouseau really did go rouge after the surgery or if he did not the diamond was stolen but legally purchased. If you could help clarify that it would really help). Now as for "Son" I am watching it right now and I may say more about it later. Oh and for the boxed set I don't care that you beat me price wise because here at most places its $60 or more! So I feel fine with my price.

I thought I would mention I got the Carry On History boxset from PLAY for a song. Six films for £16.99
Of course, I'm often dismissive of the Carry On films, but hey, we all tease the ones we love don't we?

I came close to using the last of my birthday money on the Pink Panther cartoon collection but went with Charlie Chaplin Vol. 1, which is being sold for $35 off of Amazon z-Marketplace.
The Gold Rush (10) - Masterpiece in silent cinema and funny as hell.
Modern Times (9) - Charlie seemed to be re-hashing some of Mutual material but still hilarous.
The Great Dictator (7) - Overrated IMO but has its moments
Limelight (8 for Charlie fans, 5 if not) - Very interesting for Charlie fans because this shows what would have happened to Charlie had he not been so successful with films. Otherwise, Charlie is making up for lost time and won't shut up.
