You know what I just noticed...

One more cut-off that is obvious.
When Anna and Kristoff landed after the marshmallow attack.... Kristoff is completely buried under the snow and the snow above him looked smooth, like it had been snowing for a while.
Then I remembered that they were supposed to be unconscious after the fall... weird.

I'm glad they cut out the prophecy. Would have added nothing to the film. Feel the same about any explanation about the source of Elsa's powers.

I don't understand the "how was Elsa born with her powers" refrain. To me it's kind of like asking where the Fairy Godmother came from or how Jafar knew the lamp resided in the Cave of Wonders.

In storytelling, some things just are . . .

Exactly. I don't see how it would have remotely added to or affected the story to know where Elsa got her powers.

Yeah. And as I said before I don't hear anybody complaining about Hermione Granger being born to Muggle parents with no explanation as to why she has magic. (I haven't really read the books, so my point may not be valid.)

The Duke is needed because

He's there to make us think that he's the real bad guy and not Hans, at the beginning he even basically shouts " THIS IS MY EVIL PLAN, DID I SAY THAT OUT LOUD "? On purpose, to make the audience think that Duke is the main villain, and Hans is innocent c:


We need to see his beautiful dancing skills ~

This and that the Duke silently ordered his men to kill Elsa, just in case. He does serve a little bit of purpose right there.

I know that I'm bumping, but I wanted to give my thoughts on the "Ice Age" movies; I enjoyed the second and the third flick more than it's predecessor. Yes, the first "Ice Age" was good, but not great. It had some good action sequences, but the dodo moment was awkward and the emotional moments too sappy.

I enjoyed the second and the third movie because they were more fun, less awkward and new, better characters (Buck in the third movie was awesome, he should have been in the fourth movie).

The fourth movie, on the other hand, was awful. Blatant, awkward and uninspired.

Im just dreading the awful marketing campaigns we're gonna get for Giants & Moana.

True, but I can't wait for those movies and I hope they're going to be great.

Does anyone actually listen to the Demi Lovato version anymore?

I noticed Idina's version has more downloads as a single on iTunes than Demi's. I'll admit I listened to it quite a few times before the full soundtrack came out, but once I had Idina's on my ipod, I don't think I've listened to the single once. It doesn't even sound like the same song (which I guess is good) but it has no where near the emotional pull as the film version.

I listen to both in a row, actually. I really like both versions, but I actually prefer Demi's overall.

Demi is atrocious.

I much prefer the Spanish version, "Libre Soy".

I'm really liking the international versions of Let It Go tbh.

I usually re-start the soundtrack back to "DYWTBAS" once it gets to "Fixer Upper," so I skip the 3 songs I don't care for. I do like the lyric "I know I left a life behind, but I'm too relieved to grieve," which I almost wish was in the regular version, but I don't like this version at all. Besides Demi, I'm not sure this song could be turned into a pop ballad without ruining the song anyway. We're in the age of autotune where big voices aren't as appreciated, so we wouldn't get a big ballad like the pop versions of "B&tB," "AWNW," "If I Never Knew You" and "Reflection," unfortunately.
