I'm so pleased that the ratings are tanking. Hopefully ABC will finally put this show out of its misery.

I liked it, too, and agree, I would have done it for me and my child. I thought Victora would have held up her end of the bargain but with that smile when Lucy came, maybe not.Sotiris wrote:— I liked that Jacinda accepted Victoria's offer. It makes her more human. Like who wouldn't have made that deal? Though I doubt Victoria would've held up her end of the bargain.
Yea I didn't like that Cinderella, who's supposed to be one of the kindest characters ever, did that.Sotiris wrote:— I can't believe Cinderella was willing to straight-up murder an innocent man. What's even worse is that she tried to rationalize it afterwards.
Yea, I liked that unique new explanation. She accepted the abuse because she thought she deserved it.Sotiris wrote:— We now know why Cinderella called herself the nickname Tremaine gave her instead of her real name and why she didn't leave home despite all of the abuse she had to endure by her and Drizella. She was punishing herself for the role she played in Anastasia's demise.
I don't remember how Henry's heart got protected.Sotiris wrote:— I can't believe the writers remembered that Henry's heart is protected. Tremaine either didn't know that when she asked Cinderella to take it or knew her magic could undo the protection spell.
Yea, maybe, to all of that.Sotiris wrote:Which makes the concept of alternate fairytale characters kind of pointless. They could have used this new season to introduce any number of fairytale or Disney characters who had yet to appear on the show. It would have been much more original and creative than redoing stories of characters we had already seen. I believe they went with Cinderella because they needed the princess/evil stepmother relationship the fairytale offers in order for season 7 to parallel season 1 as much as possible.Disney Duster wrote:It's a different Cinderella but barely different.
I guess the Cinderella remake of a remake wasn't a ratings draw. Shocker.Sotiris wrote:Ratings update.
Source: https://tvline.com/2017/10/21/once-upon ... episode-3/After holding steady during Week 2 of its “requel” season, ABC’s Once Upon a Time this Friday drew 2.52 million total viewers and a 0.5 demo rating, dipping to its second-smallest audience ever while slipping two tenths to an all-time demo low.
The casting hasn't helped either. Everyone's complaining about how awful Cinderella's actress is. The little girl comes in a close second.Disney's Divinity wrote:I guess the Cinderella remake of a remake wasn't a ratings draw. Shocker.
It's clear the only thing this season had in common with the live-action remake of Cinderella was some of the names, hair, and costumes.Disney's Divinity wrote:I guess the Cinderella remake of a remake wasn't a ratings draw. Shocker.
She guessed that Henry went to the cemetery but he told her off-screen about his family being buried in a cemetery in Hyperion Heights he never visited before. Here's what Lucy said verbatim: "Then tell me what happened when you went to the cemetery where you said your wife and daughter were buried? The cemetery you said you never went to? Well? I bet you did after we met so, what did you find?"Disney Duster wrote:I swear Lucy said that she guessed Henry went to the cemetery.
Regina cast a protection spell so no one could ever take Henry's heart again after she retrieved it from Peter Pan who had stolen it (season 3, episode 9).Disney Duster wrote:I don't remember how Henry's heart got protected.
Oh, then yes, you're right, she must have been told off-screen.Sotiris wrote:She guessed that Henry went to the cemetery but he told her off-screen about his family being buried in a cemetery in Hyperion Heights he never visited before. Oh, thanks!Sotiris wrote:Regina cast a protection spell so no one could ever take Henry's heart again after she retrieved it from Peter Pan who had stolen it (season 3, episode 9).
Is it sad that I'm impressed that the writers actually remember something from way back when?Sotiris wrote:Regina cast a protection spell so no one could ever take Henry's heart again after she retrieved it from Peter Pan who had stolen it (season 3, episode 9).Disney Duster wrote:I don't remember how Henry's heart got protected.
Source: http://ew.com/tv/2017/10/31/once-upon-a ... -facilier/The Princess and the Frog heroine Tiana (Mekia Cox) gets the origin story treatment in Friday’s hour, which includes familiar faces from the 2009 animated film, like her mother Eudora (Robin Givens) and villain Dr. Facilier (Daniel Francis). With her kingdom in trouble, Tiana seeks help from the iconic soothsayer. But this princess needs no prince as she takes matters into her own hands when Facilier’s true motives aren’t quite what they appear. “She is now discovering how much of a warrior she is,” Cox teases. Her actions subsequently dovetail into the Cinderella (Dania Ramirez) adventure, hence the duo being roommates in Hyperion Heights, where we’ll see Tiana’s cursed counterpart Sabine make a sweet (and tasty) decision that could affect their future.

A: Yes, you’ll get more of them in upcoming episodes — though I will note that this week’s hour is very Roni and Henry heavy. “Jacinda and Regina have a lot of similarities,” Dania Ramirez says. “They share a maternal instinct that whether you have a kid or you don’t have a kid or whatever that journey is, I think she’s very loving and encouraging, and I feel like she’s so far been a real rock for Jacinda, and has helped her find strength at times that she has wanted to give up.” Possibly related, but potentially not: More questions about who really is awake from the curse will be addressed during Friday’s hour.

A: As you may have surmised by the way Ivy smoldered at Henry over drinks, “She has her sights set on him,” says co-creator Eddy Kitsis. “How he feels about it, we’ll have to wait and see. But she definitely seems like she is interested.” And given the Jacinda/Cinderella of it all, “There is some conflict to come!”
I checked and it turns out it's the "Elphame Academy". Er, potayto-potahto.Disney Duster wrote:I forget what the subtitle said but no, Gideon isn't going to Elf Academy
