I loved Love is an Open Door. It had that tongue-in-cheek fun of True Love's Kiss. Albeit more subtle. The audience is made quite clear their newfound love is kind of.... quick. It's a great scene.Musical Master wrote:Nice review Patrick, as always.
While I disagree that the songs feel the need to let the audience breath in the beginning (probably due to my tastes in musical films), I do agree with you that there could've been a more threating presense on Anna and Kristoff's journey. What did you think of Love Is an Open Door and of Hans?
2 days ago. I watched Anchorman 2. It's been hard trying not to criticize it.... but I can't cause I just wanted to see a stupid movie.TheBlibaBlob wrote:Why can't you all just enjoy movies without giving them such flack afterwards? When was the last time any of you just watched a movie for great entertainment, for an edge of your seat thrill, or to laugh at the comedy or get caught in the drama?
I mostly loved the interiors and the city scenery. Such amazing detail.Musical Master wrote:What did you think of the art direction by Mike Giaimo and Lisa Keene?
The art direction reminds me of what would happen if Eyvind Earle and Mary Blair came back from the dead and worked on this movie together. The mountains and the ice were incredible as well.PatrickvD wrote:I mostly loved the interiors and the city scenery. Let it Go wouldn't work in this context.atlanticaunderthesea wrote:During parades and things in the parks, what do you think will be used as the movies theme song? Either with the characters singing it or just being played on the float.
