We're Cast Members, so... perks! As far as Hans, she was already on the up and up about it, but said that several others were totally shocked.

What was your girlfriend's favorite songs and was there a Disney chorus for the finale?

Wait, what? She wasn't, because she already knew. Others who didn't were shocked.

Unfortunately can't mention anything that hasn't been officially confirmed, but she did say Let It Go was a big highlight, and probably her favorite.

More opinions:
FROZEN WAS AMAZING
Hi! So I saw Frozen today, it was awesome!!!!! I loved it. Everybody who was fussing about it, and hating on it, you really need to see the movie, cause it is epic!! I can’t wait to get a tape and watch it over and over and over and over and then see it in theaters, and then have Anna debut at the parks! YAY
The songs were awesome! I loved how they made the personalities of the characters. I loved how they made the personalities of the characters. It was sort of a hidden “life lesson” I guess you could say. Don’t make conclusions about people and open your eyes to find the true villain. I had already known about the plot twist, but had never seen it, you hear about it and flip out. You see it in the movie and have a heart attack.
So it’s a really good movie
(Spoilers in the second quote).

(Planes seemed to have gotten a positive reception from screenings as well, something to keep in mind.)

By the way, SWillie, is this account your girlfriend's by any chance?

It's not. She keeps a pretty low profile online, especially in terms of being a cast member.

SWillie,

When it came to Hans, did he have a better ending than the books? Cause that's the one thing I hate about the movie so far.
Also, if the showing was in 3D, how was it?

So glad that MOST people are loving it. But, I hope haters don't compare this to Tangled, repeatedely. :glare: But, let's face it: ALL fairy tale movies are going to be compared to Tangled, including Giants and maybe (I highly doubt) Moana.

Well regardless, thank you, SWillie!, for telling us what you could. I am glad to hear other people like Frozen. :)

I don't think it's a good idea to force comparisons to the Renaissance era films. I love both Wreck-it-Ralph and especially Tangled but in terms of cultural impact and financial success, they don't really match up. Disney were the undisputed kings of Western animation back then whereas they are now playing second fiddle to Pixar and Dreamworks (regardless of my personal opinions on the quality of their respective outputs).
I agree. For myself, it's hard to trust a comparison of this to B&tB when the same source compares Tangled to TLM. This film doesn't seem nearly as creative as B&tB, tbh, but I can see it as being better than Tangled. I mean, personified house objects versus a reindeer and the ugliest snow man you've ever seen? I will give you Idina Menzel outclasses Paige O'Hara though. :P

To clarify, she doesn't think it's on the same level as Little Mermaid or BatB. As in, she isn't saying Tangled is as good as Little Mermaid, neither of us think that. It's like one of those grade school comparison things. "BatB is to Little Mermaid, as Frozen is to Tangled."

Though, neither of us dislike Tangled the way you two do either :p

I agree, these two movies might not be as comparable to BATB and TLM but in this generation of animated movies that feel really good (How To Train Your Dragon) to blah (Turbo, ROTG, many more), TPATF-WIR do feel like Disney is getting back on the map and attention to audiences, Tangled was the one that a lot of people saw and loved, and it was that movie that brought interest back to Disney from the general public.

I do agree with Disney's Divinity that Frozen can be a better movie than Tangled because it looks like they put a lot of effort into the story and Elsa is looking like a very interesting female character. Also the fact that the songs in here will be much more present, natural and more "Broadway" than Tangled which feels like it's there because it was a Disney musical (even if some songs in it were kind of forced but still better then Randy's work).

Considering that this thread is 101 pages, I've made a new thread (here).

I didn't think we were creating new threads anymore... I never understood why we did this in the first place. What is the point?
