I thought that they wouldn't be able to top Zootopia's ability to cram so much into a shot, but Disney keeps resetting the bar high, both for themselves and for other studios. I mean, this still-frame honestly looks like a painting you'd see in a Concept Art book rather than something from a CGI movie.

I'm getting Fantasia 2000 flashbacks and I love it. :D
Does the lava lady have a name?

The shot of the lava goddess looks promising.

I like the voicework on Moana. Still a bit unsure on Maui though (and the design still isn't looking much better in motion).

Need a new word cause "Beautiful" doesn't do these 2 justice.

Moana has the same adorable defense reaction Rapunzel has!

(Not being snarky, by the way; I legitimately like that kind of reaction.)

BTW, isn't this the first time they've heavily advertised the voice actors for one of their movies in quite a while? (i.e. plastering their names on the trailers and/or posters.) I mean, granted, while their main voice actors are usually fairly well-known, they aren't usually A-listers like The Rock. I think the last time I remember was with Bolt (John Travolta/Miley Cyrus).

Wreck-It Ralph also included the voice actors' names in the trailer.

Well, due to the latter being at her peak of the popularity of her show, it was inevitable that her name would be listed. To be honest, I've simply forgotten that she even was in it. And frankly, she was fine in the movie.

that's really cool of him trying to deflect some of the attention away from himself. Nice guy!

According to the forum member Disney Analysis who was at Annecy and saw some previews, her name is He Haka and she's the goddess of Earth and Fire.

I don't know what's up, but the YouTube video embedding isn't showing on my end? I mean I can see the link in the reply box, but on the thread itself the video doesn't show? No worries, I can copy and paste and watch on YouTube still.

See, I doubt this is the case, but now I wonder if this is Maui's movie about redemption/ humility/ coming of age/ however-you-wish-to-call-it, but told through Moana's eyes on her own story of restoring peace?

The new spot barely had some new clips. But truth to be told, I thought the last clip with Hei Hei was somewhat funny (due to shutting him up, haha :P) And frankly, for once I didn't mind the promo clip with the Kakamora's either.

The still from the magazine, however, was nice enough.

EDIT: Btw, the cover of the Art of Moana-book has been revealed; https://www.amazon.com/Art-Moana-John-L ... ords=Moana

The video didn't show on my computer either, but after posting it I checked it on my mobile phone and there I could see it. I haven't been able to see any embedded video on the forum the last 3 or 4 days. I thought it was only my computer, but maybe it has happened to more people, so thanks for posting the link. I don’t know what the source of the problem was, but today I updated my browser and now I can see all the embedded videos again.

I doubt that is the final cover. They do not usually make use of concept art used to promote the film. Same thing happened with the Art of Wreck-It Ralph.
