If there was a sequel coming out in December 2006, Disney would already know as the sequel would already be in production. It took 4 years to complete The Incredibles and approximately 3 years to complete Finding Nemo. If there was a sequel coming out in December 2006, we as fans would already know. Wouldn't it be promoted on the Disney website and it isn't. There isn't a sequel in the works at this time.

Hi Teede!

Just wondering - why don't you have an avatar yet? You're allowed to get one when you've posted 50 messages.
All that I've heard about the next Great Mouse Detective movie is that there will be a new Mickey Mouse film in which he will get kidnapped and Mickey's gang will call in Basil to crack the case.
On whether or not there will be a sequel to the original, I have mixed felings on whether or not they'll release one, considering that it isn't the most popular of Disney movies and most people haven't heard of it. If they did release the sequel, I think it wouldn't make as much money as say the Little Mermaid sequel/s or the Lion King sequels. Nonetheless, it would make money, which seems to be the main reason of a sequel nowadays, so I don't really know.

She's not stupid, she's naive. She believes everything she reads. But the first two sentences in your post DON'T MAKE SENSE.
