In the last couple of weeks...

Walt: The Man Behind The Myth twice - Once with a friend who I will hopefully be visiting Disneyland Paris with. She's already a Disney fan but hadn't seen it yet and I think it's always nice to watch in prep for any Disney trip. The second time was with another friend is a big film fan, including docos. He also seems to have a very slowly budding interest in Disney films (he even oh-so-occasionally posts here). Both seemed to really like it. I think it's incredibly well-done and very moving.

Bedknobs & Broomsticks (DVD Extended Edition) - In preparation for what I hope will be my maiden voyage to London and Paris (and DLP) this year, I'm trying to watch as many films that are related to the trip with the friends that will be going with me as possible. We'll actually get to go to Portobello Road, which is very exciting for me, so B&B was an automatic inclusion. The friend I watched with hadn't seen it before, but very much enjoyed it. Of course I did too, as it's one of my all-time favorites. :)

I also watched a video I made of my most recent trip to Disney World. Seven of my college friends and I went and took lots of pictures, which I combined with some stock video and the like to make a fun little movie. Unfortunately, it was with iMove (I had to get it done quickly, so made the painful decision to forego Final Cut Pro). Still, I think it turned out fairly well in the end. So ok, maybe it's not really a Disney movie, but I did my best to make it seem like one, and so I include it here. :P

Beauty and The Beast

Good story and I love the "be our guest" scene.
Colors are great, good music, but I don´t think it have the most romantic scenes at all

Just watched Oliver & Company (First Time).. Was good, I liked the character lineup... Movie felt quick tho... Cat Born, Cat Lost, Cat Adopted By Dogs, Intro Bad Guy, Cat Napped, Cat Found, Bad Guy Dead, All Live Ever After.. Felt a little rushed.

I think the last Disney movie I watched (I'm really embarrassed by this one)isn't even a real Disney movie, and it's very cliched, but I was watching it with my nephew on Disney channel two weeks ago:

My Date With the President's Daughter

Bambi. I love that movie. I was an adult the first time I saw it and it's a classic.

I haven't seen it when I was little, and when I was younger I really didn't like it (too little dialogue)but now I really want to see it again.

Well they're animals there not even suppose to be talking. But if they didn't talk then the movie would of been very dull.

I watched 2 movies today.

Robin Hood
This was my first time watching this and I should really learn not to judge a movie. I thought this would be terrible and it actually turned out to be quite good. Definately not the greatest Disney movie but it was an enjoyable one.

3/5

Oliver and Company
It's been a long time since i've seen this one and I couldn't remember much about it so I decided to watch it and i'm glad I did! This is a great Disney movie! It had an enjoyable story, awesome characters, great villians, and good animation! I'm going to have to get this movie for sure.

I've never seen Oliver & Company but Robin Hood is one of my favorites!

I watched The Parent Trap (1961) version last night.

Yeah, Robin Hood isn't one of my favorites but it was a good one

You should rent Oliver and Company sometime. It's one of the best Disney movies from the 1980's in my opinion.

The Fox and the Hound

A hidden gem in my opinion. Despite its flaws and its old age (and some recycled animation), I found this feature to be charming. It tackles many issues in the little time it has. I think if Disney would advertise these "hidden" features the public would love 'em too and name them classics!

Yeah I like The Fox and the Hound it's got Mickey Rooney and Kurt Russell in it. I didn't find out they were the voices of Tod and Copper until a few months ago.

What a great cast. The last time I saw that movie I didn't know about very many movie stars, especially older ones. Now I'm a huge fan of classic movies.

Dumbo

I liked how when Dumbo flew that he took all those peanuts and threw them at the elephants. The elephants had mean to him after his mom went mad that Dumbo got teased because he had big ears.

Robin Hood

It's not one of my favourite movies but it is a good movie. It had a nice ending when Robin Hood and Maid Marian got married. I also liked how Prince John and the snake got put in jail and were seen working in jail clothes as the carriage of Robin Hood and Prince Marian rode by.

Aristocats

It's been awhile since i've seen this film also. But unlike Oliver and Company, I didn't like this one. It isn't a terrible movie but it's one I didn't really enjoy. I found myself looking away at times. Definately not a movie that I would purchase.

Dumbo

It´s not one of my favorites, but hey, I enjoy it and I like the scene of the pinky elephants-just today, because when I was like 6 or 7 it seems to me a little stupid and ridiculous and I just play forwad the tape--
