I have accumulated some very cool DVDs within the past few weeks. These include:
Gone with the Wind (4-disc edition)
Rogers and Hammerstein's Cinderella (1957)
Harry Potter and the Prisoner of Azkaban
Eloise At Christmastime

Tonight I bought two new DVDs...
Classic Cartoon Favourites Starring Chip n Dale (only that volume cause I need to budget now!)
Robin Hood: Prince of Thieves (extended version) - Finally! The first VHs I ever got and one of my all-time favourite movies and it's taken me this long to get the DVD? Well atleast I got it now.

Got Titan A.E. for $5.50 at Target today. Not a bad film, actually; I rather enjoyed it.

My incredibly warm and lovely girlfriend bought me Twin Peaks: Season 1 last night.
Gave me something to do today while my internet connection was on the fritz (and still is).

No, not even I was tempted! Mind you, it isn't entirely the fault of the filmmakers - the source novel was fairly ordinary as well.
Nice to see you've balanced it out with one of the best films ever made - Once Upon A Time in the West. Nice set that.

I have heard Thomas Harris didn't want to write another Hannibal Lecter novel, but his publisher and the film company forced him to (it was in a contract somewhere or other). Thus, the dreck that was Hannibal was created.
Still, it's not stopped him from creating a Hannibal Lector prequel/origin story, which is filming now (
http://www.imdb.com/title/tt0367959/ ). Sigh, will he never learn?
I picked up
Directors Commentary, a so-so tv comedy for an ultra low £2.99 of the internet. Not bad for a couple of discs of gentle chuckles.

Last night I bought Ren and Stimpy season 1 and 2 set, and Chip and Dale cartoon classics....it was the only one left in the store!!!! Lucky me!
