Am I the only excited about TS3???
I'm ecstatic! I actually posted something in the other Toy Story 3 thread about how excited I am for the Blu-ray >_> lol
Haha, good !
I was actually very surprised how dead this thread has been...
The one in Blu ray.com is very much alive.

Yes, I saw that...and I was shocked with the price...until I realized it was for Canada.

Thank God for the USA!

Canada and I have a love/hate relationship. I love the country, I hate it's prices. I know a few people in the states, and they are always beyond shocked when they come up here and compare prices.

Awe, haha.

Yeah, it's always fun to compare the prices..but sometimes it just leaves me breathless... like with the add for TS3.

I live 8 hours away from Canada, yet I've never been...I've been to Mexico 7 times, and we always drive to Florida (vice versa since I just moved back to IL from FL) and it's 18 hours away.
I'm definitely planning a tour to Canada!

Excited beyond belief, but there's nothing to talk about. I'm just eagerly counting the days, getting depressed every time I look at the calendar. with Toy story 3 coming in less than 2 weeks and Conan starting the following week I just want October to hurry up and be over already.

If you're shocked with does prices, I don't recommend you to compare them with Belgium!!!
Because here it'll cost you around $30

Well you guys have the euro, which is worth more than ours, but the Canadian dollar is worth less than ours. But that's still crazy... Disney makes more money in Europe than here, haha.

btw, i have 20 euros and 5 canadian dollars. :)

And yet again I agree with you darling :)

You know why disney makes more money in Europe?
We get so exited and nervous and almost loose our patience before everything is released here that we JUMP ON EVERYTHING as soon as it comes out :) ( for example: TPTF came out in the movies in december in the US, we had to wait 'till february.... )
STAMPEEEEEEDE :D

I've got some US dollars also somewhere, I think it's about $50 :)

So do we have confirmation that there is nothing in Trilogy Box set that you cannot get in the 3 separate blu-ray releases other than the box and the digital copies of 1 & 2?

i won't buy the box set...(already bought itunes copies of 1 and 2 in jan 2009 after I got my iPod classic)

But this makes me.......crazy...

If there's a $10 coupon, I usually buy my Blu+DVD combo pack @ Target....but I don't know what these bonus shorts consist of or if the $10 coupon would be usable with this special walmart exclusive.

If the shorts are just Cars toons, I'd skip it, but if they are special ones, I'd go for it.

If it's just a regular dvd i'll pass. A bonus Blu-ray would be great though.

Product description reads "Exclusive DVD with 7 Short Films." Be nice to know whether they're Disney or Pixar.

Well, I just got my Blu-ray copy today. It wasn't supposed to come out 'till this wednesday, but the damn stores already had it for half a week. Either way, the picture and sound is amazing, just like the movie itself.

Questioning this paragraph
Toy Story 3 demonstrated the financial might of sequels with an enormous $413.5 million (and counting) domestic box office gross that fell far above the $200-$300 M range holding nine of Pixar's ten previous films. The tenth, former studio king Finding Nemo ($339.7 M), was handily eclipsed in earnings. Ignoring inflation, Toy Story 3 now stands as the ninth highest-grossing film of all time domestically and fifth worldwide. Many records were set by TS3's success and the film will likely end up the year's top earner.

Still, it's possible to be just a tiny bit disappointed by the numbers, for they are short of both Disney's champ (Pirates of the Caribbean: Dead Man's Chest's $423.5 M) and the animation champ (Shrek 2's $441.2 M). Toy Story 3 seemed to have the ideal blend of universal appreciation, through-the-roof demand, and four-quadrant appeal.
Who wrote this review? I could've sworn that TS3 has already surpassed Shrek 2 to be the highest grossing animated film of all time (surpassing $1 billion) or was the writing referring to a difference in the domestic vs all-time? :?
