I think we can expect cover art within the next few weeks.

What are you talking about, it hasn't been posted yet.... has it? I can't find it if it has.SpringHeelJack wrote:Not a fan of the cover art. It's a bit late to differentiate from the standard floating heads over title thing for me. And why is Jiminy on the spine? Gosh, that really burns my toast.
It's an abomination on Disney DVDs that started with Peter Pan: Platinum Edition. Allegedly it tries to teach youngsters new words, by using the film as a reference. On Peter Pan it's nothing but the film...with colorful subtitles that are differentiated by a different character's head as an icon so kids know who's talking.Sprince wrote:What's a Fun With Languange game?Escapay wrote: Who's willing to bet it's the Special Edition DVD, except with a flashy new slipcover/cover art/disc art, DMR points, and a new "Fun with Languages" game?

No, it's a featurette about the history of the Sweat Box, like how it was used and how important it is to Disney animation.Panfan wrote:UD says it will include "The Sweat Box." That isn't the ENG documentary, is it?
I'm all giddy for "No Strings Attached", hope it'll continue with the quality and calibre of the past few docs (why oh why didn't they do this for Peter Pan?!?), even if it's likely not going to be my preferred length (90 minutes). One thing I hope (and expect) that they'll discuss is how Gideon was originally to be voiced by Mel Blanc (he did several recordings), but the filmmakers ultimately decided to make him mute like Dopey. In addition, I'd love if the early part of the doc could cover the original designs for Pinocchio (in which he's not instantly likeable and looks more puppety) and Gepetto (a more crotchety old man with a rather domineering personality like Doc). The Press Release For Pinocchio: Platinum Edition wrote:DVD BONUS FEATURES

And it's not just that he's holding the apple, but that he looks completely enthralled with it, as if it is the most fascinating thing he has ever seen. The cover makes it look like the apple is an intricate part of the story. It's works on Snow White's cover art, obviously, but not on this one.rs_milo_whatever wrote:Simba3 wrote: but why is he holding an apple? It seems random to me, but it probably isn't. My brother asked the same thing; doesn't Geppetto give him an apple when he goes off to school?
If it's any consolation, at least one of your ideas from the Ultimate thread was used.T-SoD wrote: If they just follow my outline of all the bonus features in the Ultimate DVD/Blu-ray thread, the Blu-ray would be simply amazing (though that won't happen).
