well they have to go back and change it cause under "Lady and the Tramp" it says "Special Edition". so when they go back they might think twice about it so i wouldnt worry about it too soon.

Wow, I was a little suprised when I saw this. I mean, how come every body was standing on the ground? Definatlet not very PE! I expectet the final cover to be a little bit more like this:

Lady and Tramps head on top with the logo under them. Then the heads of random various characters. All of which will be blended in floating on a dark bluish void.

All Platinum Editions are Speical Editions.

For my opinion I really didn't like the sneak peek to LATT art cover... they have to change it and make it better.

Guys, look at history here.

The Bella Notte sequence has been used as cover art EVERY SINGLE TIME LADY AND THE TRAMP HAS BEEN RELEASED TO THE HOME VIDEO MARKET.

They are going to continue this; as I said, they have stepped outside of the "Platinum cover formula" with Beauty and the Beast before, since they wanted the cover to feature the most memorable moment from the film.

Same deal here.

And frankly I like Bella Notte's continued use. It's the best scene in the film.

I actually love the cover art. My only suggestion would be to down size the logo bit. It's massive!

The cover is obviously going to change, specially considering how big the title is. But I really like what we have now. The characters look good (and not outrageously off-model, like on covers such as "Pocahontas" and "Home on the Range") and the color scheme is very nice.
Let's only hope the DVD itself makes the film just. It's nice we are already getting some info on the DVD, I'm sure by September we will already be getting to know about some of the extra features.

Actually, Beauty and the Beast does follow the Platinum cover formula. Belle and the Beast are the largest primary figures on the cover's background with the sidekicks smaller and in the foreground. The only thing that differs this from other Platinums is that the title is up top as opposed to the middle. Even if Lady and the Tramp's cover ends up having the title at the top as it currently does, I can guarantee you the cover will be tweaked so that the title characters will take up a massive chunk of the cover, and the minor characters will take up the corners in the foreground.

Hopefully that won't be the cover art that they release. I don't like it :headshake:

Yeah. I've been busy lately, especially with final exams  But now that school is over I have the time to post on the forums again :D I've been reading the updates on the main page all along though, just so I knew what was going on. Anyways, sorry for getting off topic :P

Lady and the Tramp Cover

Does anyone wish that another cover idea was used? After all, the Bella Notte scene is always used. I know it works, but there's also the romantic scene where they are on the hill and the moon's out, or the part where they are in the cement. If they used the cement scene, they could have Lady and Tramp above the title, and the title would be in the cement, all gray and everything. Then maybe the rest of the characters could be in the cement too, but not gray...like colored cement...? But since the old Cinderella VHS had her dancing and her back was to us as well, the Platinum Edition cover is that only looking a lot better, sort of like "it's not just a special edition of the movie, it's a special edition of the cover, too!" If they use the Bella Notte scene it will certainly be beautiful. I just want to know if anyone feels that it's a little unimaginative if it's the same scene they've used over and over. But with that scene above and characters below acting out scenes, it will be really cool.

Well, if that's the case, then I should love TLM cover. If it's just going to be a revised version of the Black Diamond cover. I really like the BD cover (with the exception of the fact that I can't look at it without my eyes darting towards the you-know-what) and it's a very good concept for a PE cover. All I can say is that Eric might be removed. So it's just Ariel sitting on a small island, floating on a water-ish void with Atlantica in the background with Triton on one side of it and Ursula on the other. And Sebastion, Flounder and Scuttle on the bottom corners. That's basically going to be it.

Well, the 1998 cover art is the one they always use for current Lady and the Tramp releases. The 1987 Black Diamond cover art is a bit different, though. But I like it better than the 1998 version, the characters look a bit better there.
