Picks up immediately after the 3rd. The family discovers that they have inherited a hotel in Hawaii. This one focuses more on the Creel Triplets than Hayley Mills. Cute.

I have never seen Parent Trap III, or Parent Trap Hawaiian Honeymoon. But I used to have a vhs recording of Parent Trap II that I watched a lot. But then my mom loaned the video to a neighbor last year, and the neighbor never returned it. But I am so glad that it is getting the digital treatment.

While I love Hayley Mills and like Parent Trap 2 I won't let Disney force me to rebuy the original with many of the same features when I already own the unbeatable Vault Disney version of it. I hated when they put all of the Karate Kids in a box (thank God they are now coming out separately so I can get the original only) & then Robocop Trilogy finally got an anamorphic treatment (but not available separately). I'll do the same thing I did with both & wait 'em out. If I don't ever get it, it won't kill me & Disney won't have forced me to rebuy the original which I love. Still waiting on the original Robocop & life goes on.

That's not exactly true-it just doesn't dwell on the twin that was dwelled on in #2--and the twin who was married in #2 is the one who's fallen in love with the engaged guy.

Wow, I never thought I would see Parent Trap 2 released on DVD. I've wished for it for a while, but like most of you, I don't feel like re-buying the original. Darn.
They should release all the sequels together as a set. That would be great. They are all very enjoyable.

Of course it would have been better / smarter to put Parent Trap II out with Parent Trap III & IV. It also would have been a smarter move to keep the Return of Jafar / King of Thieves trend going strong. Put the sequels out together, Disney! With any luck the other sequels will be out within the year. By that, I mean this time 2006.
