because the last episode I saw was about Goliat traveling on different realities with that weird eye and the green little fellow was bad and as a mecha!(mechanical gargoyl)
or it was when Goliat takes Odin´s power?
Season one ended with "Reawakening." Season two started with Leader of the Pack and ended with Hunter's Moon: Part III. That's fifty-two episodes in all so I have no idea how they're going to release these...

Here is the message from Chad on Station 8
Hi everyone,
My name's Chad Kultgen. I'm involved with producing some components of the Gargoyles Season II DVD and I'm doing a little research for a potential bonus feature.

Nothing's set just yet, but we're thinking about doing some fan interviews and possibly some mini-documentary type pieces with fans potentially displaying some of their favorite Gargoyles memorabilia, etc.

As I said, this is all very tentative at the moment, but I'm just trying to get an idea of how viable the production of such a piece of bonus material would be.

We would be looking for someone who lives in the Los Angeles area. If you or someone you know is a huge Gargoyles fan in Los Angeles, please feel free to shoot me an e-mail.

Thanks,
Chad Kultgen
chad@3oh5.com
So again, if you are in or near the LA area and love Gargoyles, email him to see about an interview for the DVD. Similar to the one on Season 1 DVD from the convention I am sure. Which was nicely done.
Also he is looking for ideas for bonus features.

Hi everyone! I have some questions about Gargoyles and I hope that you can answer them-
1. How many seasons were there?
2. Why doesn’t it say ‘Disney’s Gargoyles’ on the 1st Season? Will it on the others?
3. And is Gargoyles: The Goliath Chronicles a spin-off of it?
If you can answer them, thank you. If not, that’s all right.
Also, Siren- did you do a commercial for the first season of Gargoyles? I’d love to see it. And is there any more news on the 2nd season, since you’re corresponding with Chad.

1. There are three seasons of Gargoyles
2. It's more of a teen/adult show so it's not really under Disney but has it's partnership with it.
3. No, Gargoyles: The Goliath Chronicles isn't a spin-off it just a continuation of the show and a sequel to Gargoyles.

Eww TVTome.

I mean that site has some great info but there is so much bad info on that site. Over the last couple years I have come across many spelling errors, shows with wrong information such as airdates, episode listings as totally false. Bleh. :p

It would be nice if UltimateDisney.com had episode guides. :D (atleast of Disney's animated series!)

I sort of wish they would break season two up into 13 episode sets so we can have it presented like season one... four sets! ...but releasing those would take "forever". In the end we would have six nice sets... featuring six main characters on the covers.

Actually, Goliath Chronicles is considered more of a spin-off. It did continue the series, but in the wrong direction. A tiny fraction of the original writers were on board. Greg Weisman was lucky to be able to salvage what he could of the last episode Angels of the Night. Because though the memory fails me (and I rather it stay that way, because I remember it was painful), the original ending was so cookie cutter and sappy it wasn't even funny. Not that the end of the TGC was all that fantastic too. But besides writing, there were some other differences that make it a spin-off. Goliath always had his "Jerry Springer Moment", where he had this little speech. The first 2 seasons of the original show never had this. The addition of "The Goliath Chronicles", which made it seem more like the season was some sort of "Goliath's Journal". The animation compared to the 1st two seasons was craptacular. I am sure there are other technical reasons.

Also, Disney completely owns Gargoyles. It wasn't being done by another company, say like Pixar. It was Disney made. Disney animation studios in Asia animated it. Writers were here in the USA studios. The reason why it didn't say Disney's Gargoyles was a marketing stragedy and experiment. Disney knows it's name can sell any kid movie with ease. But put that name on a dramatic cover and either
A. Parents will see Disney and get it for their 4 years olds and then be screaming it was "too violent"
B. People who never heard of Gargoyles, thinks the cover looks cool, but then see the name Disney, and figure it's kiddie stuff.
Either way, those two people may buy it and be disappointed, or not buy it at all.
Best Buy keeps the DVD in their Sci-Fi TV Shows section, least all my Best Buys here. Rather then the Disney section.
So yes, Disney owns it, produced it, Eisner was totally all over it. It was not distrubuted by Disney. Disney MADE it, lock, stock, and gargoyle.

Thanks everyone for all the info, sometimes lengthy, that was given to me. I hope too that they release the show in 6, 13 episode sets, but what main characters would be on the covers? I've never seen an episode, but from the info on the TV Tome page it says -We meet the heroes: Goliath, Hudson, Brooklyn, Lexington, Broadway, Bronx and Elisa,- and isn't that seven? What one would everybody cut from the covers list, or would somebody be paired with another gargoyle? I don't really know, so I need people's advice! Thanks.

Hudson would probably be paired with Bronx. Or Elisa and Goliath could be paired up

Hasn't Goliath already been done, on the 1st season?

Yes, Goliath has already been done.

But Elisa wasn't a gargoyle so if they made six sets like the way people were saying then she might not be on the cover.

Yes, I was thinking the same thing. And if Chad was looking for bonus features, a behind the scenes documentary wouldn't be unwelcome! Maybe an audio documentary as well! :) That's only if they want to.

When I was talking about the six sets and six main characters I didn't think of Elisa. She's a main character but she isn't a Gargoyle. I thought of the main six. :) Well I also thought about Demona but whatever, I just would rather see 6 sets released fast.

...or I guess I could live with a skinny two disc season one and a chunky season two even if it will look a little odd.

News about a 2nd volume of Gargoyles has come in at TV Shows on DVD.com, and it's a reconfirmation of a second season set. Looks like it will be, as we predicted, in three sets.
Here's the link to the site- http://www.tvshowsondvd.com/newsitem.cfm?NewsID=3639
Enjoy!

This just in at the S8.org site straight from Greg Weisman himself
GANG - IT'S OFFICIAL!!!

Buena Vista Home Entertainment has authorized me to reveal the following:

The Gargoyles Season 2 (Volume 1) DVD was announced to the BVHE sales force this past Friday.

Here are the details:

First 26 episodes of Season 2
3-disc DVD set
Available on DVD December 6, 2005
$39.99 SRP US
Bonus Features:
Episode Introductions by Greg Weisman.
Audio Commentaries on "City of Stone" Four-Parter.
The Gathering of the Cast and Crew (featurette).

More info as I get it...

To clarify...

The "City of Stone" commentaries for all four episodes are by myself, Frank Paur and Michael Reaves. BVHE made the choices, though I did recommend both Frank & Michael. We tried to get Keith, Marina, John or Salli to join us -- but it didn't work out, due to deadlines and availability.

I made a few other suggestions, but BVHE decided to stick with the three of us. (Quitting while they were ahead -- or behind, depending on one's point of view.) ;)
I best be getting to work on another commercial, lol
