Ok, I have seen every episode so far, and after watching tonight's episode, I have a question. Please highlight below, just in case this is a spoiler for those who have not seen it yet.

The woman said the neighbor boy's real name is dana. But, in past episodes, they said that dana was the name of the baby that the boy had killed. And dana sounds like a girls' name anyway. So, where they like twins or something? I don't get it.

Ok, I so cannot figure out how to put part of a message in white, even though i went to font color and chose white, it's not working.

no HE never killed anyone he just thout he did also I dana is not a girls' name I know a guy by that name.

My guess is that his parents stole him. Mary Alice worked at a hospital didn't she? I bet Hoober's sister knows this and is just itching to reveal it. Oh, and this episode rocked!

With the season 2 premiere being a week and two days away, thought I'd bump this up so those of us anticipating more drama on Wisteria Lane can anticipate together.

I still haven't seen this show yet, so I'm left wondering why people like it so much. I am sort of thinking about getting it on DVD, but if I did, it would be just for the men, because they really do like to sell the show on the hott guys they get to be in various stages of undress.

Hey, guys this is hard to believe but I never seen a full episode of Desperate Housewives. I'm going to watch Season Two to catch up with the show and I might buy Desperate Housewives Season One later this year.

I think it'd probably work better if you did it the other way around.

Anyway, I had only seen a few minutes of the show, but the Season One DVD came in on Thursday, and though I am not the one reviewing it (my duties are limited to screencaps, editing, formatting), I found myself watching twelve episodes over the course of 36 hours. Talk about your embarrassing revelations! What a highly addictive program - I won't classify it as a guilty pleasure since I'm not sure I'm getting "pleasure" out of it, but I can somewhat understand how so many people got hooked on it - it's easy to work you into its loop, and each episode manages to work in a "now you'll have to watch the next one" bit, which is tough to ignore. Midway through the season, I think its novelty and freshness have begun to wore off, or maybe the effect of watching 8 episodes back-to-back and another 4 the following day is getting to me, as is the new arrival of <i>Cinderella</i>.

Anyway, I at least can take pleasure in knowing that I'm not completely out of the loop on "Desperate Housewives" anymore.

LOL, Luke! It's a great show, really. It does grab hold of you, even if, at times, it is frustrating trying to figure everything out.

I can't wait for the review, and I have already got my money out, and ready to buy Season One on Tuesday!

Okay, Desperate Housewives fans. Season One, as you well know, is out on DVD, this Tuesday.

Best Buy has it for $37.99 with a free Desperate Housewives calendar, for one week. Reward Zone members get it for $34.99 with the free calendar.

I'm so glad I'm a Reward Zone member! My friend wanted Lost: Season One on DVD when it was released, so I told him I could get it for him for $5.00 cheaper, because of my Reward Zone card. So, he gave me the cash, and I picked it up for him. The Lost: Season One DVD set had a Best Buy coupon for $10.00 off Desperate Housewives: Season One on DVD, which he just gave to me, since I saved him the money on Lost.

On top of that, I have two $5.00 Reward Zone certificates left.

I believe I'll use one $5.00 Reward Zone certificate (I'll save the other one for the Cinderella: Platinum Edition), and I'll use the $10.00 off Best Buy coupon, plus my Reward Zone discount will save me $3.00! So, I'll be able to pick up the set for $19.99! Yahoooooo!!! What a deal. On top of that, I'll get the points for the $19.99 I spend.

I know one thing. When my membership expires, next year, I'll be renewing.

Target has it for $36.99 with a bonus DVD containing the "Sorting the Dirty Laundry" recap episode. Hopefully I'll be able to go there on Tuesday!

I only go to BestBuy once in a blue moon, but I'd really love the calendar!

I'm guessing the calendar is the one that's released everywhere else, except you get it free at BestBuy. Or maybe it's a special BestBuy calendar for DH.

I want the Bonus DVD too, lol. Maybe we'll both buy two copies, I'll send a Target one to you, you send me a BestBuy one with the calendar, and we'll just sell our extra copy at gamestop or something, lol.

Well, I haven't even seen the calendar that's been released, everywhere else. When I get the calendar, I'll let you know what it looks like.

LOL about buying two copies! It's a good idea, though, but I have limited funds, right now. I've got a LOT of DVD's coming out that I'm saving up for, including: Cinderella, Batman Begins, Batman Anthology, Star Wars: Episode III-Revenge Of The Sith, War Of The Worlds: 2-Disc Limited Edition, The Golden Girls: Season Three, The Wizard of Oz: 3-Disc Collector's Edition, and Titanic: 3-Disc Collector's Edition. I am sure there are others I am forgetting. Goodness, I need a second job!

So, Desperate Housewives may not have taste and intellect. It's a guilty pleasure. I choose to have fun with it, rather than worry about the taste and intellect of the American mainstream. That's just me.

Have you actually watched Desperate Housewives or are you just going by the misconceptions of what others think it is and they haven't seen it themselves but they're blindly banning it for reasons I don't know but are known to them?

Yes, DH is a sexy show. Yes, it has controversial storylines. But it's fricking addicting. I'm a Roman Catholic, my priest says the show has bad messages and no one should watch it, and I still watch. It doesn't make me any less of a Roman Catholic, nor is it a sin to watch the show. I know that the show won't affect my choices in life and that it's simply for entertainment. It's not like I'll watch the show and decide that I'll have an affair with the underage gardener or engage in some S&M with a neighbour.

If you don't like DH, fine, you don't like it. But at least know what it is you're disliking, instead of going on the false opinions of people who have never seen the show and are going on what they THINK it is.

TV today will never be thought, imagination, and genuine humour. It's a sad fact, because the majority of people who watch TV don't WANT to see thought, imagination, and genuine humour. Or, what they are watching they believe to be thought, imagination, and genuine humour. What's obscene to you might just be slightly risque but still in good taste to another. It's not like they'll cancel the show because a few naysayers say they should.

It seems that many sites that review DVD's are late on posting their reviews, these days. I am not saying anything against anyone at this site, or any other. It's just something I've noticed. I am sure it has to do with the fact that there are so many DVD releases, and not enough time in a day.
