with the kids grown up.

Exactly, how many powers does Baby Jack-Jack have? ;)
is he more powerful than Vi and Dash?
etc.

Or Monsters Inc. 2..
with Boo grown up and Sulley leading the company!

mmmkay, that's it! :D
I agree with Krystal they are ideas that could all work. But Loomis is right too pixar seems to be to smart to look back and try to make sequals, but she is right these are all some holes that could be filled and would make for great sequals. :)

Ditto to what Loomis said. I actually hope Pixar does give a sequel to TI. Maybe it can be subtitled Edna's Adventure. :edna:

I could see MI or ABL, I suppose, though they are a stretch. Nemo is the only one that doesn't lend itself to the possibility of a sequel in any way.

Well, actually I can see Finding Nemo as one of the stories most appropriate for a sequel. I think a sequel to Finding Nemo would be called Finding Dory and be about her; either her getting herself lost or perhaps a quest for her real family. I think the character, more than any other in any Pixar film, has more potential for expansion.

I notice in general a trend seems to be to watch these films, and take what's presented as gospel. They don't seem to think about what they watch. One of the Pokemon movie's commentaries explains the difference between the Japanese and American audiences.

Basically, to paraphrase they say "We had to animate new sequences for the US release, as the audience expects to have everything explained." Which I think is true. Even though the American version of The Ring had a lot more exposition and background than the Japanese one, I've seen loads of reviews where people complain that not enough information is given.

Basically, I think a lot of people here are simply taking what is presented in the movie, and not looking between the lines. There's lots of potential for sequels to any Pixar movie.

Did you ever wonder about Dory's family? How about the traditional flip-flop? What happens when Marlin grows older and Nemo becomes more independent and perhaps starts looking after and feeling protective of his father?

Will not scaring children have an effect on the real world in Monsters, Inc.? After all, parents often use "threats" of the boogyman to help control unruely children?

In A Bug's Life, what happens to P. T. Flea's circus? Will they be happy performing in the circus again? Most of the crew didn't seem particularly happy doing it in the first place.

Just because a film presents a finite story, doesn't mean that there isn't room for exploring more on the concepts or characters. It would be impossible to tell us everything about a certain character in a film lasting less than 2 hours. Often words are uttered, or concepts raised which are ideal for further exploration.

Even though I didn't like Finding Nemo much, I'd rather they to a FN2 (if it was along the lines of my suggestion) than another Toy Story. Perhaps this time, they can make Finding Nemo more original (even though, ironically it will be a sequel!)
