Non-Disney things that I collect..........hmmmmm!!!!..........oh yeah!!! Anything that has the number 24 on it, like Jeff Gordon NASCAR memorabilia, I think he is one of the better talents out there. I like some of the other drivers, but I got to meet Jeff personally at Sears Point Raceway in Sonoma, California in 1999. I even have the real hood from the 24 car from that race. My son has the right side door. I collect the die cast cars, and pictures, and anything about Jeff Gordon that I can. In my Home Theater, one wall is dedicated to Jeff Gordon collectibles.

Swords and medieval weapons-I have 24 diferent swords and 10 medieval weapons)

It's not much of a collection, but I do grab Sailor Moon-related merchandise when I can. I have all the DVD's available in America, and around 50 CD's from different parts of the world (mostly from Japan), some toys and figures, and a few books. Oh, and two original animation cels from the series! I'm most proud of the first one I bought, which is from an important scene from episode 45. You can see her reaching up toward her dying friend:

Well, this is actually a screen grab from my DVD, but it is the exact cel and background I have on my wall. Of course, in the English-language version, they totally drop the fact that she watches all of her friends die, so this scene was deleted (you can still see it on in the original Japanese version). Instead, they all get "captured" through the magic of exposition.

I would be an avid collector of animation cels (production cels only) if they weren't so darned expensive. I'd die for a Disney one, but the last time I checked it seemed you can't even touch a Disney Afternoon one for less than $500! Yikes.

I collect regret, and missed opportunities.

Oh, and Dr Who stuff. I have most of the VHS releases (only missing The Web Planet, The Three Doctors and The Horns of Nimon - I really should pick up the latter as I guess it will be a long time before a DVD release) and all of the UK DVD releases (and the American Key to Time boxset, American Five Doctors for the commentary which is missing from the UK release, and the American Vengence of Varos because the UK release is missing the production subtitles on the latter half of the story). I also have all of the Virgin New/Missing Adventure books (Human Nature rocks!), and all of the BBC Books until about 2 years ago, when I had to stop (for financial and space reasons)

Add to this various other Target Books, annuals, large format hardback books and various busts, action figures and magazines and it's about 3.5 bookcases full.

Okay, this might seem strange, but...I went through a huge super/bouncy ball phase. I mean, I couldn't even function unless I had a super ball in my pocket. Whenever I was bored, I'd pull it out and start bouncing it. My sister was into them to. So, we started collecting super balls of all kinds. To date, we have over 400 different balls of all sizes. We only get ones that are really cool, not cheap ones that we can get anywhere.

I don't carry a super ball around anymore, but once in awhile, I'll find one somewhere and start bouncing it...

We also collect Sailormoon figurines that you can for 200 yen out of the Japanese prize machines. You have to assemble them yourself, though.

Are you talking about the gashapon figures? I only have the first set of Sailor Moon ones, but I'm dying for the second set so I can have the outer senshi, too. I rarely see it for less than fifty bucks on eBay, though, which is just ridiculous!

Dvds - I have 20 disney dvds so far and 14 other dvds.
Cds - Erm i dont really collect cds anymore, but i always buy Britneys singles and albums.
Disneyworld merchandise - Ok so every time i go disneyworld i always come back with soooo much stuff - mugs, pens, glasses the lot
Tigger soft toys - I have so many from Disneyworld. If i see a new one or one i havent got yet then i have to get it. I have soooo many different sized ones to!

I collect dvds. (Disney and Non-Disney)
I just can't get enough of them.

I only collect John Lee Hooker though in a completist sense. It is an extremely hard task though. Only a very few have managed to collect every song. He recorded about 1,000 almost all of which have been released. I own over 100 CDs, records and singles that he either released or appeared on. Right now I am between 10 and 20 songs short and there are two or three that are nearly impossible to find.

lemme see...I collect Nintendo stuff (the actual games, AND merchandise with the characters and stuff like that) I also collect mermaids, but that's kind of Disney related

That's quite an impressive collection you got.. I didn't even realize he worked with so many groups.. Pretty cool.

Most of the working with other groups happned in the last decade although it went back to as early as 1970 with Canned Heat, Lightning Hopkins in 72, Kingfish in 76, Hank Williams Jr in 84, Mic hael Osborn and Deacon JOnes in 1986, Roy Rogers in 1988, the Rolling Stones in 1989, Jimi Hendrix Tribute in 89, Pete Townsend's Iron Man Musical in 1989(man I wish they had used John Lee as the voice of the Iron Giant in the movie), Vla Cupp in 1990, Branford Marsalis in 1990, Charlie Musselwhite and John Hammond in 1990, Eddie Kirkland and Mitch Woods in 1992, Michael Osborne, Van Morrison(2 albums), BB King and Zakiya Hooker in 93, Deacon Jones in 1994, Michael Osborn and Zakiya Hookier in 96, Big Head Todd and the Monsters in 97, John Mayall in 98, the Doors Tribute in 2000(as Roadhouse Blues was basically written by him), Pete sears, Tommy Castro and Zucherro in 2001.

In addition there are two singles from the 1950s by Eddie Kirkland and Louisiana Red and a few tracks by Eddie Burns on which he apeared as a sideman.

As well he contributed to soundtracks like the Color Purple, The Hot Spot,The Black Way and the Jazz Adventure.

Also appeared in the Blues Brothers. So a lot to collect.

We just finished collecting the sixth set. I'm sorry that you have to get them so expensive when they're actually pretty cheap. We just sold all of our duplicates because we had a ton of them, and they all sold for way more than we bought them for. It was pretty cool. I can't believe that people are willing to spend that much money for them, though.

Okay, well my collecting habits have been up and down over many years, but basically this is what I collect:

The Who: Anything remotely connected to the greatest Rock band ever, I want it, lol. To this end I've got most of their CDs, many albums, a couple of tour programs, and a couple of magazines. Rareties of this collection: 1970 First Pressing British Import Live At Leeds in perfect condition with all of the documents intact and in perfect condition, Canadian exclusive Red vinyl version of Who Are You album, and Canadian HMV exclusive "Masterphile Series" version of Who's Next

Queen: No, not the Queen, Queen the second greatest Rock band ever. I don't have as much of Queen as I do of The Who, but I'm slowly getting there. Rareties of this collection: 1990 British Import vinyl release of Brian May's first solo album Back To The Light, and a 1991 British import vinyl release of their last single released prior to Freddie's death The Show Must Go On with the signatures of all four band members etched on the B-side of the record

CDs: My CD collection has dwidled over the years as I grew out of a lot of the music and needed money for University. It's still hanging around 75, but nowhere near its former glory (Highlights include: The Beatles, The Who, Queen, and David Bowie)

DVDs: The heart of my collecting obsession, although its really nothing compared to some of your guys' collections. It is currently at 132 and will continue to rise as time goes on. Fortunately, I'm finished University in a couple of weeks, which means my budget for DVDs will rise significantly

Just DVD's in general I guess. I would'nt call myself a true "collector" of anything else!

X-Men comics, i've got loads i havn't brought any in a while because my ebay account is frozen and theres no where to buy them where i live.

Cats soundtracks. I've got the french, aussie, english, american, mexican, one of the japanese, german, dutch. I'm about 5 away from a complete set.

Terry Pratchett books. I can read them again and again and not get bored.

I collect piles of stuff...

Like many others, I collect DVDs (around 750 by DVDProfiler's count, 935 by mine,) although I break the collection into smaller collections:

• Criterion DVDs
• Limited Edition DVDs
• DVDs w/ slipcovers
• MGM Midnite Movies DVDs
• Anime DVDs
• Anime DVDs w/ boxes and/or LE items (postcards, pencil boards, figures, etc.)
• Disney & Pixar DVDs
• TV Shows on DVD (although I don't have very many yet.)
• Classic Comedians on DVD
• Musicals/Classics
• Etc.

I also have about 300-350 laserdiscs, although I stopped buying them.

I have thousands of books, mostly Star Trek, Star Wars, sci-fi, fantasy, some mysteries, and a growing section of non-fiction on whatever happens to catch my interest (mime, sword-making, heraldry, robotics, hand tools, architecture, cookbooks, etc.)

I have about 250 manga, with a thousand or so on my wishlist....

I have ~14 video game systems, and about 300 games (or more.) I have also been trying to find as many promos and demo discs that I can.

I have a few old computers, such as an Apple IIe and IIc, and some Tandys. I have a couple hundred computer programs (mostly games,) including quite a few Star Wars and Star Trek games. My main computer is too old to run anything current, however.

I have a very small collection of Transformers, and I wish I hadn't given my old ones away years ago...

I have a box of comics that I haven't really added to in years, the only real series I was collecting were Transformers, anime titles, and bits and pieces of Superman.

I have about 25 graphic novels, and I would like to add more to that.

I have a few anime figures, either that came with DVDs, or that were on clearance. I have a few other figures as well, especially Star Trek.

I also have about 30-40 anime soundtracks. I have about 20-30 film soundtracks, and another 100 CDs total.

I collect anime plushies, although I only like "life-size" animal characters and mascots. I have a few licensed characters that I pulled out of claw machines, like Mighty Mouse, or Rocky from Rocky & Bullwinkle. I have 3-4 of the Beanie Baby monkeys, and I want to get the rest of the monkeys, but no others (OK, the Siamese cats, but that's it!)

I also have a bit of general Star Wars/Star Trek stuff, such as Hallmark ornaments, figures, etc.

I have a ton of non-sports trading cards, although I'm not actively buying more (Star Trek, Star Wars, fantasy illustrators, DC, Marvel, etc.)

I also have a ton of collectible card games, such as Magic: The Gathering, Yu-Gi-Oh! (I just started,) Ani-Mayhem, and random other games, although I'm not buying any of these either, except for Yu-Gi-Oh!.

I have about 20-25 Hot Wheels cards on the blister, but those are limited to the anime series, the Sega series, the Batmobiles from this year, and a couple of Shaman King double packs. I still need a few other video game and anime-related sets.

I have 6? guns (including a M-1 Garand) and I would like to have hundreds...

Do you collect anything else besides cds, videos, and dvds? If you do what do you collect? Like I mean things like comics, baseball cards, etc.
