I may be in the minority here, but I kinda like those slip-case covers.
No, I kinda like them too.
Some people say the fall apart quickly, but that is only if you are continuously slipping them on and off...which is just weird :P
I like the one on the UK set, and the B & B set (Don't like the little velcro bit on the latter though).

I finally found another preview on Sleeping Beauty.

Here are two reviews on the Sleeping Beauty DVD:

French 2002 version: La Belle Au Boi Dormant

I think somone said that Beauty and The Beast has a paper slip-cover.

These cases that "Open like a book" seem to be popular with Disney. The Lion King's case wil also open like a book. I don't know if Finding Nemo's case will be like Sleeping Beauty.

I stil haven't seen any advertisments on Sleeping Beauty. Maybe I'll see some after Stich! The movie comes out. I have seen banner ads for Sleeping Beauty on some sites. :)

I am getting REALLY excited for this release. I can't wait to add it to my Beauty and the Beast DVD, which looks so alone... :)

Yeah, I was wondering how the BBC could review an R1 disc in January. Thanks for the clarification MickeyMouseboy

hehe anytime! :) i do wish they would change the package to a digipak like Roger Rabbit but so far it's a Beauty and the Beast carboard slip case. The add went to say it opens like a book so consumers can read what's included in the discs and that's what the beauty and the beast slipcase was created for.

I wouldn't want my SB DVD in a digipak; I hate those type of cases. I'd much rather prefer an dual amaray with slipcase over it like B&tB.

Unrelated note: Why the heck is the X2 DVD being released in a dual amaray like Daredevil and Spider-Man when X-Men 1.5 was digipak?! Now they won't match... :x Mini rant over. :P

A digipak? They look like a regular CD jewel case. Oh, it's like the case that Roger Rabbit comes it. I should've scrolled up.

Plus even though it says Deluxe Edition on the review, they seem to have reviewed the P&S Single Disc release released in the UK a year or so earlier. They don't mention any of the additional supplements on the 2 disc set at all. (But does mention the DTS soundtrack? Perhaps they were only given the 1st disc of the 2 disc set?)

Still, at least the BBC didn't accuse Disney of "sexing up" the 2 Disc DVD! :)

Bah? Not sure I get it, but it sounds awfully familiar.
Is it a quote from somthing?
Is it Gollum?

Perhaps Disney are harbouring Discs of Mass Satisfaction (DMS).
The only way we can know is by leading a Coalition of the Willing in to find these hidden bunkers of DVD releases for the next 30 years (including 7 different versions of Beauty and the Beast...)[/quote]

That is odd!

I found the Sleeping Beauty trailer on my Lilo and Stitch DVD. I'll try to pre-order Sleeping Beauty to recieve the free lithographs. The animation and music is awsome! I want to see what happens to Aurora on her 16th birthday. :) The action sequences look really nice. The trailer didn't mention that Sleeping Beauty Special Edition will be available for a limited time.

Does anyone have a clue about what the deal is with the Special Edition compared to the Platinum Edition? What is the difference, and is it worth waiting for???

I got BATB with the slip cover; however when I went to Sam's and saw it it didn't have a slip cover on it. This just tells me to buy Sleeping Beauty elsewhere. I want the slip cover!
