Disney Sidekicks

I think that Sidekicks would be fun!

Disney Heroines and Heros got my vote. But I have two questions about it;

1. Will this be limited to animated feature characters? Personally, I hope so, as the lists may get bogged down by obscure characters from live actions such as Daniel O'Tumpletin from 1956's Heeve-Ho, The Wagon's Blow.

2. Will there be two seperate lists (one for heroes, one for heroines) like how AFI did for villains and heros?

How about one called DISNEY MOMENTS/SCENES or something like that.

Stuff like:

death of bambi's mother
Mickey whistling for the first time in Steamboat Willie
Pink elephants on parade
and tons of others

what do you think about it guys?

I like Disney Heroes/Heroines. It'd be a good follow-up to the villains countdown, though I also really like Ciaobelli's idea of Disney moments.

Disney Sidekicks. I would like a countdown on it because it woulb be interesting to see some of the overlooked characters being voted as your favorites.

-the seven dwarves
-dory
-cogsworth and lumiee
etc...

If we do this countdown, are we talking abot the heroic characters in each movie or just the main character in any movie?

My second choice would be Disney Shorts.

Heroes and Heroines. I'm just going to go out on a limb right now and predict that Aladdin wins. Just a hunch.

I'm going to go with Disney sidekicks. I'd be picking Timon/Pumba of corse.

But here are some ideas you can use for other:
Best Pixar films
Best Disney movies(includes traditional animation, Pixar, and live action)
Best Touchstone films
Best Mirmax films
Best Disney Character(in general)
Funniest Disney movies
Best Disney Shows
Worst Disney movies

It's got to be Sidekicks, as this offers a chance to bring those overlooked characters to the fore -
plus you've got more types of character than Heroes and Heroines.
(Comedy sidekicks, henchmen, monsters etc)

Someone likes my idea

Not just because its my idea, but I really think it would be an awsome countdown, countless possibilities and there are so many truly great ones.

It's a good idea and one I've considered, but there'd be some overlap with "Best Songs", and so not yet. But it'll definitely be tackled in the future...whenever that may be.
