It's basically the same premise as the second pilot, just a different actress playing Mary Alice, and I think there was a few other actors that were recast as well.Rob B 922 wrote:Wonder if the Lost Orginal pilot is alot diffirent than the broadcast.

It is annoying, but it makes us want more tooTheLittleMerman wrote:Uhh.. it is so annoying! Desperate Housewives's new episodes take forever to come out. We have to wait another 2 WEEKS for just a new one!! I would be fine with at least repeats to hold me down!!
what Angela said! It does make it's viewers want more!Angela wrote:It is annoying, but it makes us want more tooTheLittleMerman wrote:Uhh.. it is so annoying! ABC has always done this, since the early 90's I can remember them doing this to their shows
I think he meant the 'Lost' original pilot not the lost 'Desperate Housewives' pilot.Angela wrote:It's basically the same premise as the second pilot, just a different actress playing Mary Alice, and I think there was a few other actors that were recast as well.Rob B 922 wrote:Wonder if the Lost Orginal pilot is alot diffirent than the broadcast.

Don't be ridiculous; that isn't cheap. It's allright to buy these things, but let's not delude ourselves into thinking we're actually paying reasonable prices.Angela wrote:That's very Cheap IMORic-Mx wrote:wow... that's kinda expensive...

Anyway... I'll start saving... besides amazon.com always gets like 30% off the new releases....
Actually that is very cheap compared to what the Sopranos, and Sex and the City and Buffy and Angel are priced atTM2-Megatron wrote:Don't be ridiculous; that isn't cheap. As for me, I may get Lost eventually. But not for a bit. I mean, these shows are still aired on television; it's not really worth it to own them yet. Most of the shows I own are either older, or ones that don't air on channels I get (ie. HBO). I'll make exceptions for a modern show if it's exceptionally good, which is why I'll get Lost eventually. However, Desperate Housewives, while fun, is not exceptional in many ways.

i find it interesting!JiminyCrick91 wrote:white on white? yuck
None of which are worth buying, as all are aired constantly; Buffy and Angel particularly. The first two are HBO shows, though, which I'd expect to sell for a bit higher anyway (though neither are HBO's best). The first season of Buffy is actually down to $29 in Canada right now, as are the first seasons of 24, Family Guy and several others. However, they still really aren't worth buying, except maybe Family Guy.Actually that is very cheap compared to what the Sopranos, and Sex and the City and Buffy and Angel are priced at
It's all a matter of income; none of these things are necessary. Was X-Files really that good that it's worth hundreds of dollars to own the whole series? It's all a matter of perspective. Fox's X-Files sets, Paramount's Star Trek sets, and HBO's dramas have sold for much more. Heck, season sets of hour-long shows provide twice as much content for a retail price just $10 higher than Buena Vista's season sets of half-hour sitcoms. Two 70-minute movies could carry an SRP of $59.99, and so do 16 hours of episodes.
