Why is the hell would you buy New York Minute? No offense since I'm bashing your opinion, but, that film sucks...

Have you seen it? I actually quite enjoyed it, and here's why. Having seen just about everything (no, actually, make that everything... ok, ok I haven't yet seen "Getting There" or "Holiday In The Sun") that the Olsens have done, New York Minute is a bit hard to not like... it sort of spoofs, or at least pays homage to, bits of their film and TV franchise over the years. Given that I'm sucker for those sort of things, I instantly appreciated that factor. Throw in the HILARIOUS Andy Richter and you've got at least a decent comedy. It doesn't stand out as cinematic masterpiece or anything, but it's definitely on par with some of their better films (like "It Takes Two") that I also own on DVD (or am starting to collect, anyways). This one was held to a higher and unfair standard than the rest simply because it was released to theaters. The girls also don't get their fair share of respect in terms of talent.

I recieved Bambi from Play.com two days early yesterday! How cool is that! Sorry, I can't stop boasting, can I?

Also, I ordered Mary Poppins: 40th Anniversary Edition on Friday from Playusa.com. Yes, I know that it's more like Playcanada.com, but what other importing place will accept Solo?

Got a LOTR:EE Trilogy slip-cover in the mail today (the same one they use when they sell all three movies together). Sent away for it from the insert inside ROTK:EE. Only took 8 weeks!

It's very nice! I got mine on Saturday.

It's amazing how long New Line takes to fulfill their promotional items. I know it says it can take 8-12 weeks, but that's just ridiculous! It took about 16 weeks, when I sent in the rebate for the first film's DVD releases.

Anyway, I'm glad to finally have the trilogy slip-cover. It completes the set perfectly! :D

I was in Asda today and picked up The Prince of Egypt for the oh so high price of £4.97! They were having an offer to help promote Shark Tale with some other Dreamworks DVDs being reduced to such a small ammount, so I thought that it'd be a good idea to pick up Prince.
