Announcer: Giving one last look at another one of the honored movies tonight, here again is Luke!
Luke: Claiming direct inspiration from above, Mel Gibson bucked the Hollywood system and made a Jesus film with his own money. THE PASSION OF THE CHRIST will remain in record books for a while due to its unprecedented box office performance as an R-rated independent subtitled production. Financial success seemed far less important to the filmmaker than his calling to document Christ's death and sacrifice with unflinching realism. Faith and polemic discussions aside, this atypical and haunting work seems more an experience than a motion picture. Still, as there was no Best Experience award, THE PASSION is up for Best Movie, among its 9 nominations this evening.
Announcer: Our closed-captioning writers better get ready for some hard work. Here’s Ultimate Disney’s resident jokester, MickeyMousePal!
MickeyMousePal: Last year we had some of the best films at the theatre some weren't that great like for example Garfield or Catwoman. Most of the best directing films made huge money at the box office and is still popular to this day. But only one will win but if my favorite doesn't win who cares at least it got nominated. This is going to be so hard who ever wins will remain a favorite to fans all around the world. Here are the nominees for BEST DIRECTOR . . .
Brad Bird – THE INCREDIBLES
Alfonso Cuarón – HARRY POTTER AND THE PRISONER OF AZKABAN
Marc Forster – FINDING NEVERLAND
Mel Gibson – THE PASSION OF THE CHRIST
Michel Gondry – ETERNAL SUNSHINE OF THE SPOTLESS MIND
And the winner is . . .
Brad Bird – THE INCREDIBLES
Announcer: He’s so into Wonderland, he’s . . . Wonderlicious!
Wonderlicious: If you like animation, you're gonna love this award, baby! Okay, I'll stop making myself sounding like something in “Shrek 2”, one of the nominees in this category. Aside from that film, we have three other Disney movies and one non-Disney movie up for the award. Will a cow take it to her home on the range? Or will some Incredibles nab it? Perhaps a pet of a teacher may get it. Actually, the award could get taken to the North Pole on a train. Anyway, we’ll see! Here are the nominees for BEST ANIMATED MOVIE . . .
HOME ON THE RANGE
THE INCREDIBLES
THE POLAR EXPRESS
SHREK 2
TEACHER’S PET
The winner is . . .
THE INCREDIBLES
Announcer: Here’s MickeyMousePal yet again, filling in for another member. Thanks Pals, I owe ya!
MickeyMousePal: Your Welcome Jackie Chan!!! Okay I seen all of them except Napoleon Dynamite but the others are great. Okay here are the nominations for BEST COMEDIC MOVIE is . . .
50 FIRST DATES
ANCHORMAN: THE LEGEND OF RON BURGUNDY
THE INCREDIBLES
NAPOLEON DYNAMITE
SHREK 2
And the winner is . . .
THE INCREDIBLES
Announcer: Here’s Amy Grant’s personal mirror, Awallaceunc!
Awallaceunc: Hollywood offers us a wide array of films each year. Some make us
laugh, others make us scream. It is the film that moves us, though, in either emotion or excitement, that we most remember, and it is that film that we award tonight. This year's nominees for Best Drama/Adventure movie each deal with a savior: be it a savior of childhood, a thriving city, a precious document, a wizarding world, or the souls of all mankind. The nominees for BEST DRAMA / ADVENTURE MOVIE are . . .
FINDING NEVERLAND
HARRY POTTER AND THE PRISONER OF AZKABAN
NATIONAL TREASURE
THE PASSION OF THE CHRIST
SPIDER-MAN 2
And now I am pleased to present this year's best dramatic or adventurous
film! And the winner is . . .
FINDING NEVERLAND
Announcer: There’s only 1 award left, and it’s the big one! Coming up, Luke will present the award for Best Movie (Overall)!

Announcer: To present the final award of the evening, here is Luke!
Luke: When done right, movies make the unbelievable feel real, and true life stories more potent and tangible for audiences than they otherwise could be. These nominees offer a blend of fantasy and reality, and they span across several genres. But they all share an insightfulness which speaks to humanity, as they dazzle us and instill childlike awe. The nominees for BEST MOVIE (OVERALL) are . . .
ETERNAL SUNSHINE OF THE SPOTLESS MIND
FINDING NEVERLAND
HARRY POTTER AND THE PRISONER OF AZKABAN
THE INCREDIBLES
THE PASSION OF THE CHRIST
And the winner is . . .
THE INCREDIBLES
Announcer: Congratulations to Mr. Incredible, Elastigirl, Dash, Violet, and of course, Jack Jack, for taking home the top prize! That concludes our Live Broadcast for this evening! Join us again next year for Ultimate Disney Movie Awards 2006! Goodnight!

Well. That's good. At least a Disney Movie won the Disney Award! Although, since I am a huge Harry Potter fan I still wished for them to win

Well 'The Incredibles' was a good choice for best picture overall I felt it wasn't the bst movie of the year. Still great choice though!
There were a few winners that I nominated so I'm happy about that.
