It says "Specially Reframed For Standard Televisions", so I guess we can assume Pixar's technical savvy will render the 1.33:1 edition slightly less heinous than a pure pan & scan of such a nicely-framed wide movie.

My review is still a good bit away from being posted, but surprisingly not as off as you might expect considering I just got the DVD last night. That's because it's a really fun set to go through. There are hours of goodies on Disc 2 and it doesn't feel that long at all.

But, here's a taste of some screencaps that won't be used in the review (and there will be a lot used there)...

Brad Bird was interviewed on the local news this morning. He talked about some of his apprehensions about trying to follow in the Pixar tradition, how much work has gone into the upcoming DVD, and how "zany" and unusual the new Jack-Jack Attack short will be.

yes yes yes! :D I read it the minute he posted the notice on this thread. :)
I like the review Luke and another great review! :thumb:
The Incredibles is packaged in a standard-width dual black keepcase, which is housed in a shiny, happy cardboard slipcover.
I liked that part! :) I'm addicted to my slipcovers, so I needed to know what kind it'd be! :P

Other than that, I was sooo tempted to read the Easter Egg bit...but I skipped it; I'm hoping i'll find them on my own. And if not, well, I'll just go back to your review!

The Incredibles DVD is filled with great stuff! I surely can't wait for it to hit BestBuy (or Wal-Mart) ;)

Great review, Luke! I can't wait to get this! March 15th can't get here soon enough! Of all the releases for this year, so far, The Incredibles is the one I am most excited about. Did you not find the problems with the reds that IGN.com pointed out in their review? Just curious, as they made it sound like it was pretty noticeable.

I did not at all. But then IGN was very critical of the Miyazakis and those looked great too.
