Oh! I wanted to get this for Christmas. Please tell me if it is good when you finish reading it. I've seen Confessions of an Ugly Stepsister on tv, but didn't get a chance to read the book, but the movie was great!
Anyhow, for Christmas I really lucked out! I got a bunch of great stuff!
~

A portable 7 in. widescreen DVD player! (though Escapay got one too and my parents said we could return it. I was thinking if I should trade it in for a PS2. Any advice?)
~ My sister (Jane McCoy) got me a wonderful find from her college bookstore

:
Disneyana and
Inside the Dream: The Personal Story of Walt Disney (wrote by the people who wrote the
Man Behind the Myth). They're both HUGE coffeetable books with lots of color photos! And she only paid like $6-7 for it! THANKS SIS! Oh yeah, and she also got me orange boxers with penguins on them

. Last year she gave me some with chickens!
~ DVDs: (wowza! I got a lot!)
- Thank you to, Escapay, who spolied me with:

A Bug's Life CE,

Garfield: Holiday Celebrations,

TLK II,

Star Wars Ewoks Adventures!
- Treasures: Mickey Mouse in Black and White Volume II. We went to Sam's club and I snuck it in the cart and said to my parents it would be my Christmas present so they wouldn't have to shop for me, but...I also got two more Treasures: what luck! I was totally not expecting it! I felt the wrapped package and knew they were Treasures. I figured it was MMC or Pluto or OTFL or TL, but it was Disneyland USA and Behind the Scenes at the Walt Disney Studio!!!!

I'm back everybody... hope I don't bother anyone bringing this post up again.
As for me, well I didn't get much just a Gamecube game Baten Kaitos; and the game is awesome.
Well, it is just that one game since before Chrismas I bought so many things:
Paper Mario 2, Tales of Symphonia, Wario World and as DVD's go The Return of the King EE
And for Three Kings Day (I'm so glad we celebrate Christmas twice) I'll be getting Resident Evil 4 and a chainsaw controller with that.

Well I guess it's my turn to post my list.
From Kram:
A track jacket from Aeropostale
DVD - It's A Mad, Mad, Mad, Mad World!
From Jane:
A track jacket from Aeropostale
From the 'rents:
Portable DVD-player (it's this cute little thing, like Kram got, and we opened mine tonight so we have to return HIS by default, but the best thing is it has a widescreen...screen.)
Ancient Mysteries of the Bible (a 5-disc set, I remember watching it on PAX, and I was totally not expecting it)
An electric toothbrush
From relatives:
Gone With The Wind 4-Disc edition
Wallet/Flashlight/Compass/Whistle/kewl kickbutt box
An Old Navy fleece vest

Mom also gave us $50 before Christmas to use towards presents, but since I already bought everyone presents, I only needed to spend $20 from it.

I never got much this year since I'm getting older, most of my immediate family I have spent christmas with have died in the past few years and those left aren't huge shoppers.
I made a christmas list year and got nothing on it but it was still an interesting Christmas. Actually almost every remaining Christmas tradition was broken this year.
The cellphone I was promised never came. Ah well.... it's been promised for two years. It goes on my list of things I want so badly and could afford to get myself but I never get.
Anyways enough of the sad stuff and now onto the gifts...
The Jetsons season 1 dvd set.
Pajamas!
Gift cards, gift certificates and money. (those kinda gifts seem to be increasing)
A video game. (first one that is soley mine in a decade! i got the last one from my dad back in 1994)
Books.
Chocolate... mmmm...
Simpsons calendar.
A travel bathroom kit thingy. (needed one!)
That is all so far. (I have friends who will give me gifts... I think. I mean I have gifts for them ready for when I see them later this week)
Christmas is more aobut family than just gifts but the fewer gifts do make me miss my family. I have a massive family but only the immediate family gives gifts and gathers for the holidays and well... a decade ago there were 12 of us. 4 remain!
