Woah, that's a lot of stuff! I'm so happy they aren't spreading out the extras over the two discs like they did with Nemo. That list of superheros is probably a bunch of profiles, I think - maybe taking after how Mr. I accesses the files on all the heros while sneaking around Syndrome's lair.

Nope, none of the Pixar DVDs have had DTS. So its not really a suprise for Incredibles.

I just saw this today at a 4 PM showing at my local theater (sorry if I was late), and I thoroughly enjoyed myself. I think it's overrated, but it was an entertaining film, no more, no less. It's gonna go on my list.

Judging from the DVD release and extras listed, this is gonna be packed release. With all that stuff packed onto 2 DVDs, I'm not surprised there's going to be a separate full-screen version.

By the way, the actual sound listing for the movie is Dolby Digital 5.1 Surround EX, not just Dolby Digital 5.1 Surround (it's listed on the movie's ending credits and at the IMDB). And will the full-screen version be the usual Pixar reformatting format, or a real pan-n-scan effort?

Big oops! I didn't realize you were from the Netherlands, sorry! But what I said is true of the U.S. releases, anyway.

I'd like to add that The Incredibles Special Edition region 1 is already up for preorder at dvdsoon (Canada). The release date is set for march 15.

Both in widescreen and in full screen (Pan & scan)

And about the film: THAT WAS TOTALLY WICKED!

Is it just me, or does Elastigirl look a little weird? Kind of . . . robotic, or discolored, or something. Besides that, I like it, though I agree that the Frozone/Edna pictures on the bottom look like they were randomly slapped on. And what's up with the Disc 2 art being all Edna? I mean, she was great, but she wasn't even really a main character . . . why not Syndrome? He doesn't show up anywhere!

Looks like the UK Incredibles has been moved up to March 18th, as every internet site has changed to it.

We've got a glimpse of The Incredibles DVD menu screens here! Unfortunately, English is the only language I understand...

Amazon now has it up for pre-order: The Incredibles (Widescreen).

If they lower the price before release, it is automatically adjusted for you.

Looking at this link

It appears the UK may be getting both a single and double disc edition. I thought Disney had dropped that practice. Still with Fox, Universal and even Paramount (who would have even thought a Paramount release would have enough content for a double-disc set?) getting in on the single/double disc market, I suppose it's only to be expected for Disney to go back to their old ways.

The question is... like Atlantis and Sleeping Beauty, will the single disc release be full frame only?

Good, hopefully its a sign for future releases. Maybe Disney will go back to 1 discer for kiddies and 2disc CE for serious business.
