Well they released in WS here, so hopefully they will do the same there. It was Herbie Goes Bananas that was released in 1.33:1 here.Captain Hook wrote:I want Herbie Rides Again on WIDESCREEN! I hope Disney is planning to release it soon.
Interesting to see what ratio each of them is released in over there. I have a sneaking suspicion some of these ratios aren't right (although there is consistency in their inconsistency).Luke wrote:I expect the Herbie sequels to be forthcoming in the US. They've been assigned UPCs already.
Please let me know if you hear any news re: aspect ratio of 'Goes Bananas' (which seems to come out in the UK October 6). I might even think about 'upgrading' if it is in widescreen (it is 1.33:1 here, although I'm not sure what the correct ratio is).2099net wrote:Blackstar is now listing all the Herbie sequels as also being available to buy seperately on DVD in the UK.
Thanks, MH.TheMadHatter wrote:According to www.imdb.com, "Herbie goes Bananas" has a 1.85:1 AR.
It most likely is in widescreen. I think we all agree on thatLuke wrote:It was released theatrically in 1980 - it's highly, highly unlikely it wouldn't have been widescreen then. Although we all know the IMDb is often wrong.
