A Dreamworks Alice? Not interested. Could be a bit risky for them- endless comparisons to Disney's adaptation are inevitable. A live-action adaptation from Burton would be amazing, though!

Bedknobs and Broomsticks of course begs- SCREAMS- for a sequel. I doubt we'll see it, though I'm sure it would be a big enough success to warrant its production. I remember when I was little, I vowed to film sequels to Pete's Dragon and Bedknobs.

I love Hocus Pocus, and while I suppose a remake could be fun, I'm not sure what there is to be improved on. I'd much rather see a sequel, or even just a decent DVD edition.

I heartally agree!! With the popularity of harry potter etc, a big budget Bedknobs remake would be a treat!! Especially with the special effects capabilities we have today!! Im sure this is something that has been discussed behind closed doors down on buena vista street.

But Luke's question got the marmalade flowing in a weird direction and I started seeing a slapstic/comedy weird cerebral film with live actors playing the parts of Mickey, Goofy, Donald, Pete, the gang etc. No i don't mean as a mouse dog duck cat etc. but as live human beings that are just like them in personality and general looks. Probably take lots of acting, directing, writing talent to work. A touchtone pic? First the jump to CGI. then humanity. Pinocchio would be envious. I must change the additives in my cheese.

Diney Guru, you might not like remakes but one of your favorite Doris Day movies, The Man Who Knew to Much is a remake, so not all of them are always bad.

I have to agree with the Legend of Sleepy Hollow remake. I enjoyed Sleepy Hollow but it would be great to see Disney take on the story and keep with the book more. Oh and I would make it live-action.

I wouldn't want to see a remake of any of the animated movies. None at all! (epsiecially not a remake just to get it in 3D)

I used to want to see a remake of Robin Hood. I love the movie but I was thinking of a human animated version but now I don't want to see that.

Oh I would like to possibly see the return of Gargoyles as a movie. Live-action would be interesting and I have always dreamnt of that but I'm thinking of the animated series in a new adventure so it's not really a remake.

It would be neat to see another Mickey, Donald and Goofy adventure but I don't know what would be next. I had ideas but none were remakes.

I would love to see a live-action Beauty and the Beast based on the Broadway show.

That would be interesting. They should capture the broadway shows on DVD... or have they done this to The Lion King already and not Beauty and the Beast?

I'd have to agree on the Alice in Wonderland one (make it like the old live action show they used to play on Disney Channel).
I don't really know any others that might be a good remake.

Hehehe that's my favourite movie! I would hvae said the same, about a remake, but i don't think the original trio of actresses would be up for it. there were rumors of it a few years ago but they weren't legit. i would rather see it come out on special edition dvd because it's kind of a time piece. it might turn the end of the story and ruin it.
i would be interested in seeing what disney could do with "Alice" or "Sleeping Beauty" live-action films. But since it's disney, they would probably just use lindsay lohan and hilary duff. it's like disney only has 2 female actresses lol.

The Watcher in the Woods should get a remake. It needs a better ending. Disney should consider re-making the dated films like Gus. I think they should leave the successful films alone, Mary Poppins doesn't need to be re- done.

I guess the only one would be Alice in Wonderland. Not really a remake but more of a sequel though. Since the first one didn't really follow a plot they could just come up with more wacky stuff going on.

ah I love the movie 'Gus'. I'm sure it's only a matter of time before we see a remake of that one.

I have one... Zorro. It's partially a remake. How about Mickey as Zorro? It sounds kinda interesting. Maybe a Zorro animated movie? WB had a Zorro series back in '97 and I don't think that it was hugely popular so it might not do so well but if they did it the same was as 'Robin Hood' you may have something people will enjoy.

Perhaps Disney could remake "The Black Hole." Now, I really like the original version (I know there are critics there....), but maybe with a remake, Disney would release a Special Edition of the 1979 movie with MORE behind the scenes stuff and assorted extras.

I can't understand why to make a remake, since these films are already done by the same studio once??!! That's just the waste of money! The world is full of new stories and ideas. Why can't they do something new when they plan to make remakes...

I agree, but since remakes (esp. from Disney) are inevitable, we might as well try to make the best of them.

Pete's Dragon would be cool!!!

I've come up with an idea; why not revive 2D animation with an animated remake of Wind in the Willows but make it a feature instead of a 30 minuted featurette? Although the Mr Toad segment of Ichabod and Mr Toad was good, it would have worked much better as a feature length film.
