Well when you click on the Tarzan Collector's Edition, this is what you now find on the
product page:
We're Sorry!
The page you requested can't be accessed right now, or it no longer exists.
I'm not sure what that means in regards to our orders or the current stock level of Tarzan, but it does slightly worry me. Mine was supposed to "ship by 10/24," which is tomorrow, so I guess we'll see what happens. No credit card charge thus far.

I just got an email from best buy concerning the Behind the Scenes treasure I bought last week which was backordered. It was supposed to ship on the 23rd, but now it is expected to ship in the next 25 days! Anyone else get this who ordered this dvd, Tarzan CE, or Snow White?

.
The Answer is........ Best Buy is a big chain with millions of stores nationwide. When they ordered snow white. they had to order copies for all of their stores and for their warehouse for internet orders. just like any other chain like circuit city, amazon, etc. What this means is the some store still had some copies left that havent sold so they go returned to the warehouse where they go put online to see if they sell. that's why they still had some in stock. as off jan 2002 snow white is OOP disney doesnt make any copies of it. what's in their warehouse and what's left in retailers possession is what's left. Like my local Circuit city still have 3 copies of the OOP E.T DVD!

Yeah, I got the same email about the Tarzan CE- not yet available to be shipped, expected to ship in the next 25 days. I'm a little confused. It seems like either they have it there and it would have shipped by now or they don't have it at all and they would let us know that. It's not like they'll be getting new orders in.

Got an email from Best Buy saying my order for Tarzan has been canceled. I guess they really didn't have them at all.

Snow White doesn't seem to be on Amazon anymore either... Besides the usual ones in the used & new section.

I got the email about Tarzan being cancelled also. I also put in an order for the Ultimate Disney Anthology 9 DVD set thru BestBuy and got an email already saying it's on back order and probably won't get that either.
I did find Disney Treasures - Disneyland USA on CircuitCity.com for $24.99 and they sent me an email saying it has shipped! Still haven't got it yet, but it's only been a couple days.
I think we need to start a OOP DVD's for Sale Thread to update the members when something pops up, even if most will probably not come thru.
I also made an order for the Disney Treasure Series 1 - MM in Color and Davy Crockett thru the Disney Movie Club when someone posting that they were on their website. I got on email saying they were shipped; I really hope this one comes thru. When I called to check on the order, the lady said that they is no way those DVD's were listed on their website and then was floored when she looked it up on their own website. She gave me a whole bunch of stuff about how it was a huge mistake and they didn't have them.

Well that's interesting, since my MM in Color Vol. 1 just came in today. Woot!!!

Hello.
I bought from amazon, on October 9, the Snow White Platinum Edition. I was informed that by November 15 I would receive it. Then, on November 4, I got an e-mail from amazon saying that an unexpected fluctuation on "supplier" availability (amazon words) had delayed the filling of the order. Apparently they expected to have a few copies by the end of a period of weeks and later they were informed by their "supplier" that the DVD is out of stock. Amazon doesn't know when will the product be available again (from the "supplier" I guess), so the order is on hold (open order in the amazon jargon), which I think is a good thing. The mistake amazon made at the time it was selling the DVD was not to post a warning (as it does many times) saying that the availability at amazon was subject to availability at the "supplier".FIM

I got my Disney Treasures in the mail a couple of days ago... Mickey Mouse in Color I and Davy Crockett. I can't believe they actually showed up from the Disney Movie Club. When I called them they said it was a mistake and that they didn't really have them and not to count on them being shipped and then they showed up a week later !!!!

I ordered my copy of Snow White from Bestbuy.com a few days ago. Hopefully it will be in today. I was so excited to be able to get it. It was 34.99 but it is definitely worth it to me.

I suggest you go and check on Gamestop personally.
Yesterday I entered one just to look and I found one Snow White for $16.99.
I checked the website and they don't have it. That's why I said you should go look to see if they have it.
