Hello everyone :) My name is Merce and I'm new. Anyways... I'd have to say when Aladdin first came out and I saw the scene where Jafar was dressed up as the old prisoner... then smiled... I think I ran to the bathroom and flossed my teeth.

Yeah, I wasn't scared by that as a kid, but it is a bit creepy. Well any scene with an Elton John song in it would be scary!

I was terrified of Beauty and the Beast when I was little. It was mostly the Beast because he roared so loud, and was so mean to everybody. If I watched it, I had to be right next to my Dad so he could protect me from the Beast LOL.

I can't really think of anything that scared me because I always knew it wasn't real...

When the Queen transformed into the Witch, it scared the bejesus out of my 3-year-old self. Also at that age, I had to hide inside a cardboard box everytime I saw Jafar baring his teeth at Aladdin when he was disguised as an old beggar.

Hocus Pocus scared me when I was little. The scene in The Lion King when Mufasa's about to die somewhat scared me.

The Night on Bald Mountain scenes left a mark on me as a kid (mainly because an anvil hit me while I was watching them...boom-khish).

Seriously though, those scenes did have a major impact, and did frighten me as a child.

I also found the 'Ichabod' covered-bridge sequence (usually shown as part of a Halloween special or something) terrifying. I still do I think (but other versions of the tale).

This is not a Disney film, but since we're on the topic... The one that stands out in my mind is The Ewok Adventure (1984). There was this big spider, and this huge giant in a cave.. anybody else remember this movie? Scary!

Oh! That used to scare the "carp" out of me too. I also remember someone sacrificing themselves to save the others there, which also upset me greatly.

Coming soon to a DVD player near you!!!

Anyways, back on topic...

Same! It was the first film i saw in the cinema. I was fine up until when the queen transformed into the with and then un-veiled her face! My mom hid all of our snow white books after that. Then i found them and got scared again.
I think The Black Cauldron was a bit freaky. I watched some of it last night and I jumped twice.

On the black couldron, when Tarron is hiding behind that wooden panel and the dog (out of no where) starts barking. I literally junped outta my seat.

Anything like that scares me. Hm.....I can't think of anything else right now......*cough*

The Be Prepared scene was really scary. Whoever decided to use smoke and green lights was smart.

Oh... how about My Lullaby from Simba's Pride. That's scary too! Vitani is cute and scary at the same time. She even bares her tiny claws. o.O

The Can You Feel The Love Tonight scene was dark and scary! Let's run through the forest while the sun is setting.

"We have always had a gentle understanding with the creatures that live in the woods. " - Edward Walker from The Village.

Oh yeah, in Lilo and Stitch, the scene where Stitch escapes is kinda scary. The suspense was too intense. Will Stitch escape? Or will the guards catch him? The scene reminds me of something out of Star Wars or Star Trek. Hehe
