Bumping this thread many years later to add my own, though mine aren't nearly as good as those already posted in this thread. Still, I've scanned them in, so why not? Unfortunately, the scanner is smaller than the drawings themselves...

Scar

Maleficent

Captain Hook

The Evil Queen

Lady and the Tramp

Kermit the Frog

These are terrific! I'm not sure if my Disney drawings count, since they are largely fan interpretations of characters* most don't care about. :P Regardless, these I've seen are terrific!

*My style of art is more... realistic than the way said characters were drawn by Disney.

This is like super old. I think I did it when I was 13. No where near as nice as others. Media: Pencil and colored pencil

And not technically a Disney character, but a character I created based on Gargoyles...Me! I did this when I was 16. Media:Pencil, colored pencil, Photoshop

Actually I really like Aaron's work. I don't think he is trying for simply replicating the Disney characters the way we see them all over the place. I think the focus with his pictures is more about shading and lines. I especially appreciate the Maleficent picture. I enjoy drawing as a hobby but completely suck at it. It seriously would not even be worth posting on my mom's refridgerator0_o.....rofl.

A friend of mine is super amazing at art, though, and she loves to do Disney fan art. I'll see if I can get her to post something on here. She does awesome work.

I think when one is criticizing another's artwork, it should be constructive. Explaining where they went wrong and what they can do to get better.

Yay! Great work everyone. :) And what a great thread for amateur artists! I think I might try something myself. I don't consider myself good at drawing (though my friends do  ), but so what? I have an imagination don't I?

PS: I seriously like your first pic, Kyle! There's a nice fluidity to the pencil lines, and you drew most of the elements almost perfectly, though not quite - which is good, because it gives the picture a look of spontaineity and an organic feel.

EDIT: Can we submit non-Disney related stuff here too?

I don't have a scanner, so I just took physical pictures of these. These are some of my Disney-related ones, with the exception of the last one, which is my characature of a current presidential candidate.

Here's a TLM drawing I did in my spare time. It looks much better in real life, I assure you. :P

UmbrellaFish, you picture seems to have some sort of yellow flower on the rock. When I spotted it, it reminded me of a dead jellyfish. Immediately after I got the idea to draw Ariel being eaten by a ginormous Portuguese Man of War (yeah ... I know that's not a jellyfish ...). So there! You're an inspiration! :P
