I always thought Christina Ricci was good for American McGee's Alice. Or Amy Lee...I doubt she can act..but she's looks the part.

This is a spoiler for Kingdom Hearts but I posted it here since it seemed somewhat more fitting and it is a spoiler.

Why the heck was Alice a Princess of pure heart and not Ariel or someone else and why not Wendy or anyone else?

That is sad she wasn't chosen (lol for totally somewhat spoiling the game, folks), but on the bright side she did get to be our ally and fight with us. She was a good fighter and always said thank you when I cured her. Beast just grunts and Peter Pan doesn't say anything...that jerk, next time I'll leave him alone to die...

Anyhow, it was awesome though that they got Katherine Beaumont to come back to do her and Wendy!

I hope they might release a sequel to Alice In Wonderland pretty soon.

talking about Alice, did anyone played the PC game where Alice returned to Wonderland and all was wicked and scary?
It was released a long time ago, but I never was able to play it

Anyways, I always liked Alice and Wonderland. It was perfect for Disney because imagaination was ENDLESS. There was a lot they left out, but they also added so many great Disney touches, that it didn't matter.
The music was not something I'd listen to outside the movie (except the song by the flowers), but it was all fun and pleasent. I think Alice in Wonderland had the most songs of any Disney movie too. :P
I love the "half a cup" line and they cut a cup in half. But yeah, I agree about the tea party. That had some of the best comedy!

I like McGee's Alice too, but though Buffy wouldn't be my first choice, just because she'll be in it doesn't mean she will be doing martial arts. I hope she doesn't anyways. Christina Ricci or Daveigh Chase (The Ring) might be better.

I haven't seen this movie in so long but I remember that I enjoyed it. I forgot most of the characters names for instance:
The Rabbit
The Cat
I'm sure I'm forgetting a lot more but, yeah I need to buy this movie or get my mom to buy it so I can watch it, but I don't think she likes it.
But I knew the Mad Hatter only because I like Batman. Batman rules!!!

You could always pick up the shiny Masterpiece Edition DVD and refresh your memory. ;)

I have wanted to for a while, but I've never seen the movie. I want to see it badly, but I don't want to rent it or buy it and then not enjoy it, because then I'll feel as if I wasted my money (I'm cheap like that, and I'm aware of it  ). Two months ago, I thougth to myself "Well, nobody shows Walt's movies on Disney channel, so I guess I'll have to pay money to see it." That night, Alice in Wonderland was on Disney channel by some miracle. But I, having just bought the Spirited Away on DVD, made the stupid decision of watching Spirited Away (which I could have watched anytime) instead of Alice (which was only one once by a miracle).

All this rambling is just leading me to this question: "Does anybody know if it will be on TV again anytime?"

In my opinion the whole movie is just a prologue for the 15 minutes you get to enjoy the Queen of Hearts! Every minute with her is absoloutely histerical! I couldn't control my laughter every time she said "Off with his head"! Classic stuff right there!

Well the day you mentioned was Easter! So my guess would be that they show it on Disney Channel every Easter.

And they also show it on WB and UPN quite alot.

The language was also really confusing. I really didn't understand the way people talked. It was sooo confusing! They should have just put it in normal english! (Hey, my least fav subject is English!)

Remember that "Alice In Wonderland" was based on a story that came from England which has different sounding english than America sometimes.

That's the reason why I can only communicate with Americans via message boards like this. Otherwise, they won't be able to listen to me. :P

If it's about the odd words you're talking about though, I think that you need to put things in context. This a fantasy, so there may be weird things such as "slivey toves" etc.
