Cool poster. I think it'd be wise to downplay Eddie Murphy, since outside of "Daddy Day Care" and his audio contributions to "Shrek", he's been box office poison this decade.

That is pretty groovy....

Still not sure how I feel about the whole theme park attraction = movie thing, but they've been good so far from what I've been told...

Will check it out for sure...

Disney just announced "The Enchanted Tiki Room" movie, in which Dolph Lundgren and Jean-Claude Van Damme play brothers searching for hidden treasure who stumble onto an air-conditioned lost chamber filled with taking birds - featuring the voice of George Lopez as Carlos the Parrot, and Jennifer Lopez as Booty the Parakeet!

I also hear that Disney are doing "Disney Store: The Movie".

Gasp! as more and more of the floor space is taken over with stuffed toys and Princess clothing.

Thrill! as out hero travels from Disney Store to Disney Store looking for The Love Bug: Special Edition on DVD

Boo! as the wicked management plots to sell off this once great treasure of our malls.

Laugh! as the sales staff insist The Road To Eldorado is a Disney movie.

Cheer! as the Disney Store runs previews for Brother Bear on their big screen.

Every ticket for the feature comes with a free bonus lithograph.

LOL!

Don't forget about the scenes where managers threaten your life if you don't suggestive sell enough presells for "Stitch! The Movie"!

And don't forget the part where Danny the Stockboy falls off a ladder into a sea of Nemo plush and almost drowns! (Actually, those things are bouncy!)

I can't wait to see this movie. The teaser was great and I'm hoping this'll be just as good as Pirates of the Caribbean and Freaky Friday.

And I, too, am hoping for a PG-13 rating. :)

I can't wait to read the book. It's called The Haunted Masion: From the Magic Kingdom to the Movies. It's about the mansions in all four theme parks, as well as how it was brought to the screen. looks really cool.

well some reviews are in and its not lookin to good onj the most part read the bottom :(
from animated movies
First Reviews of The Haunted Mansion Are In!
'Goose' caught a screening of the Disney film in Pasadena, CA, and here's what he had to say at AICN: "The film has its good points and its very bad points. But thankfully, the good points outweigh the bad points. Terrence Stamp as The Butler [is] simply awesome. We see the hitchhiking ghosts, the singing bust guys, seesaw spooks, the bicycle ghosts, the moving tombstones--it's all here! This film is definitely at its best during the moments when they tip their hat to the ride. Eddie Murphy gives an appropriately over the top performance that suits the mood of the film well. I honestly thought he was going to ruin this movie but he actually made it pretty enjoyable. The bad thing about this film is that it never really wants to scare you too much. Rick Baker's make up was sweet as always. And the cinematogaphy was great too." On the other hand, 'Death By Gimli' was less than convinced: "This movie is a f***ing mess!" And 'Samwyse' agrees with more harsh words: "This movie is awful. Not just bad, awful."

It's a bit sad if they're predicting over twice as much box office for The Haunted Mansion than Brother Bear.

Not that I think Haunted Mansion will be bad, but I have doubts about Eddie Murphy (although he was good in Mulan).

I mean has the American public quickly forgotten Dr Doolittle 1 & 2, Pluto Nash and Daddy Day Care?
