I just saw the original The Manchurian Candidate, a great film. Angela Lansbury gave a fantastic, though chilling, performance. I'm even more excited for the original now.

Just watched the very funny Starsky And Hutch again with two people who hadn't seen it before, which is my favorite way to watch movies. Is anyone else like that?

Comedian - Interesting, though not the best-made documentary. While it shouldn't be too surprising, the film was revealing of all the work that goes into being funny. The thing is the comedy parts were just NOT funny having been through the whole process. Anyway, it's short and quite watchable, and I think it's worth a viewing.

Back To The Future
Back To The Future, Part II
It'd been awhile since I'd seen them from beginning to end (though I regularly catch snippets on TV of both). Truly great movies.

Last night I saw 1957's An Affair to Remember for the first time. A great film, only to bee seen on Fox's Studio Classics DVD, for it's a film that puts the blend of CinemaScope and Technicolor to wonderful use.

I watched Starsky and Hutch. Very funny movie. Owen Wilson, Vince Vaughn and Will Ferrell who are all in the movie. They make me laugh by just them standing there doing nothing

Back To The Future, Part III
While I've seen the first two countless times, I think this was only the second time that I had seen this one, and I barely remembered it. Very good!

My brother and I watched Clue last night after a long time. Years earlier he taped it off of Comedy Central and we found they had cut A LOT out! The movie was so much more funnier with the "deleted scenes." We also got to watch the first ten minutes of Big Business. My dad (I think accidentally) taped it off of CBS in 1991. It started taping ten minutes into the film so for 13 years we have watched it w/o the first ten minutes until now! It was like watching a whole other movie in the beginning.

I LOVE BIG BUSINESS!! Earlier this year marked the first time that I met someone outside of my family who had seen it (two of them, actually). Glad to see someone else likes it. I saw Clue not to long ago, as well. Classic '90s.

Er...Classic 80s, really. Clue was 1985, and Big Business was...1988?
Anyways, Big Business is one of those underrated movies. My favorite part would have to be the mirror scene between the two Sadies.

Dur! I was thinking "Clueless" lol. I do really like Clue too, though, and would like to add that to my collection.
But yeah, Big Business screams 80s throughout the whole thing. The humor is timeless, though.

I saw the Village and I did not like it at all. Nothing seemed to happen at all. It was just there, lifeless, doing nothing. I even fell asleep for a good 30-40 minutes and that never happens with me. Oh and the big twist at the end, it's a joke. M Night Shamalan really needs to try something new. Very disappointing.

The Manchurian Candidate (2004)
Not bad. Overall, I'd say maybe 3.8/5. It took all sorts of liberties with the original. Some of what it added actually enhanced it, but for the most part, it did just the opposite. I didn't like the changes they made, or the different way in which the story was told. It didn't work as well. The cinematography was pretty good, though, and it was nice to see it in color, lol. The acting wasn't nearly as good this go-around. If you're going to only watch one version, stick with the original.
Men In Black
Great as usual.
