I really loved the first one, and I think the potential for a compelling sequel is certainly there, I just don't have great faith in Disney's ability at the moment, particularly where sequels are concerned. Like, I'd be unambiguously excited for it if it weren't being greenlit in a time where Disney is just commissioning sequels to everything in a desperate attempt to climb out of their Disney+ hole.

I say "question mark" because I think there is a chance it could still be inspired, but I also don't think my fears are unfounded.

From Disney it`s Snow White and Lilo & Stitch. For someone who didn`t care for the original Zootopia, I`m lukewarm to that mandatory sequel. My most anticipated non-Disney choses are Jurassic World, Captain America and Wicked: Part Two.

Mostly I feel like I’m out of the loop? How do I know so little about all these coming movies??? I didn’t even know some of these were being made— like Superman.

I enjoy the Avatar movies so I’m excited for the next installment. I didn’t watch the last Jurassic World movie because I heard it was really bad, but I like those movies generally. And I think this one has a whole new cast? Wicked Part Two of course I’m very excited for.

For the Disney flicks— I would not say I’m *excited* for Zootopia 2, it’s not something I think about a lot? But I enjoy that universe and hope it will be a quality film. As for Snow White, I’ve defended Zegler against criticisms I think are unfair sometimes, but to be honest, I did not find the latest trailer for the movie very inspiring. Lilo and Stitch, I think, has a chance to be very charming.

I look forward to Wicked part 2.

I'm not a huge fan of Zootopia, but I'll watch the sequel. It could be okay and I like Ginnifer Goodwin.

Snow White can be entertainingly bad while Lilo and Stitch looks competently boring so far.

I don't care about How to Train Your Dragon, and I don't care about comic book/ superhero movies.

I might watch Elio on Disney+ because it doesn't look interesting enough.

Oh no, please don’t let Elio fail in theaters, Faerb. I understand it doesn’t look interesting to you, but the last thing I wanna see it Pixar turn into a sequel factory and lose all its original ideas to execs who would say “more sequels, no more originals.” Besides, an unappealing film can turn out to be great in the end, and you’re not even considering that. I highly suggest you reconsider before Pixar’s reputation becomes ruined by one’s actions that could tell many they should follow suit.

Ahh! Elio, I knew I was forgetting one!

Yes, I’m excited for that. Hope it’s good.

Interesting that it’s not on the “most anticipated family movies” list, but all the others on that list are non-original IP so I guess that isn’t surprising.

I'm very excited for Wicked Part Two, Elio, Freakier Friday, the new Jurassic World, Avatar and Zootopia 2.

I plan on seeing Lilo & Stitch, the Frozen Broadway show on Disney+ and Captain America.

As for Snow White, Rachel Zegler has completely ruined it for me. I'll just wait for it patiently to come out on Disney, and I'll give it a watch then.

I am glad Freakier Friday is coming to theaters because I’m glad that the mid-budget movie, in general, is making a comeback with cinemas, but I also probably won’t see that particular film in theaters. I’m very happy Lindsay Lohan is in a better place in her life and career, though. Was always rooting for her to get back on track.

A Princess Diaries III or Hocus Pocus III, on the other hand? Yes, absolutely I would see those in theaters. And hopefully something new and original, too.

Gotta see the movie in theaters and make it a hit if you want studios to make more mid-budget movies.

No wait for streaming, see in theaters.

Eh… I am not rich enough to support movies just because I like the idea of them. Freakier Friday doesn’t need massive box office numbers, it will be fine as long as people who enjoy the IP buy tickets.

I feel the same way about Lindsay. The more recent movies she's made were super fun, and I'm sure this one will be as awesome as the original. I even enjoyed her cameo in the Mean Girls musical.

All other movies are secondary after Wicked pt. 2.

Otherwise, I think I'll enjoy Gunn's new Superman movie and Avatar 3.

I have hopes for Elio, but that one's coin is still in the air.

Leaving the door open for Lilo & Stitch, Zootopia 2, Thunderbolts, and maybe Fantastic 4. I also actually enjoyed the Jurassic World movies, so I'll keep that one on my radar for the time being.

I agree with Umbrella Fish about Freaky Friday 2 and the possible return of the mid-budget film, though I'm also keeping in mind that what we really need is for non IP films to be representing that front, something along the lines of the first Knives Out.

Wicked Part 2 and Zootopia 2 are the only ones from that list that I would like to see in theaters. I am interested to see SW for Gadot and the music, but I know it won't be that good. I'll see L&S, but I have no real anticipation in regards to it. Same with Elio. I don't think I'll see the HTTYD film for a long time. Live-action remakes only have much appeal to me when there's music involved, especially since they started to abandon the whole conceit of re-creating the originals in live-action (why else would you make them if you're not doing that?) and finding people who actually look like the original characters to play them.

Looking forward to:
Zootopia 2 (even tho my expectations are down im Hell  )
Freakier Friday because I love and relate to the first one so much, i just wanna see the execution tho i already know its gonna be bad lol :P
And thats it i guess thats it

Boycotting lol:
Lilo and Stitch, its like the original one is soo undisney and has its own identity and artstyle and just doing another remake of this, which looks like its gonna be another pointless shot by shot remake makes me wanna barf.
SW but i have to say, i like that they differ it from the original to try to give it its own voice, tho the decisions are still really lame, predictable and questionsble. Still gonna catch it on D+

Elio is in the middle. I liked the Mini small emotional aspect of Elio not fitting in due to being a passionate Nerd and that was the only aspect from all the promos i liked so far

Looked through the 2025 film lists and didn't see anything else worth looking forward to. But I remembered Laika's Wildwood is supposed to come out next year, although it could get pushed back.

Out of that list I think I would go with Jurassic World Rebirth, and superman. But I will probably wait until I don't have to pay for them. Might not be any good, but hey, I cant say no to dinosaurs and james gunn.
