Do you think it’s possible that Disney shined such an inexplicable spotlight on this new project as a means of responding to Abigail Disney’s recent comments about the working conditions of Disney cast members? And perhaps in trying to cobble it together last minute, the announcement was mishandled and became slipshod? Surely, Disney will attempt to counter the Abigail’s narrative with lots of positive cast member testimonials in person at the panel— and it goes without saying that the entire series is Disney propaganda.
