Apparently he's supposed to have a beard if the rumor is true although I didn't think Gungans could even have those.

^ Yeah, I questioned that, too, when I read it in the article...but I wouldn't mind it as long as he's there...

I'm glad. This gives credence to those rumors of cancelling or postponing the show that were trending last week. Honestly, I don't have much interest in this show so if it ever gets fully cancelled, I'll be quite pleased. Only interested in Cassian Andor out of the new shows.

Part of me hopes it will be retooled back into a movie. As long as the plot is given enough space to breathe.

I've heard that six episodes are being turned into four episodes, so it's possible that with rewrites, they'll turn it into their first Star Wars Disney+ exclusive film. However, I think I also remember reading that Disney said they would never make Star Wars and Marvel films exclusive to Disney+ and that films for these big franchises would always make it onto the big screen.

Sotiris, I'm just now seeing your previous post- I've never heard of that villain, but that sounds interesting!!

From what I remember, he was a former Jedi in Legends but eventually he turned into the big bad of the Star Wars Legacy comics (which were set way into the future).

I far prefer Cassian, both as a character and as a show, so I'm really glad it'll be released first.

^ Yeah, Rogue One was amazing, so I'm really looking forward to that show, too.

This is set in a timeline where Vader is alive though. And Palpatine talks about cheating death way back in ROTS, a secret Vader never knew. Not to mention, even before the prequels, Palpatine came back in the EU and was specifically chosen because George Lucas refused to have Vader resurrected.

It'll be flashbacks for sure. Even when the premise of this show was first announced, the fandom kept saying that Anakin needs to show up in flashbacks.
