lame! they already did this with Captain Hook having different kids in the animated shorts vs the films. Well I guess that will mean no more Hasbro dolls for Freddy(they cancelled CJ {Hook's daughter} doll after they announced Descendants 2). Too bad b/c I loved her design. As for who's the cutest guy Im all about Jay!

This is even worse because Freddie made a live-action appearance along with the rest of the cast of Descendants making her 100% canon. Not to mention introducing yet another daughter of Facilier's means her design and costuming will be even more derivative and unoriginal.

The logo for Descendants 3 has been updated. It seems that either Hades or Hades' offspring will be the main villain of the film.

heh that be funny if he was her dad. Didn't Hades have a thing for Maleficent in the House of Mouse tv series? Also would be cool if Hades kid's mother was Persephone just like the myths.

Still bummed abut Freddy being replaced. Couldnt they just call the new daughter Freddy too, even if her hair style/clothes gets changed?

I wonder how short it is supposed to be? With it linking so much with the trailer for Descendants 3, it looks as if they would have too much story for a movie, so they moved some of it to the short .

I expect it to be around 20 minutes long. That's how long Disney's animated TV specials usually are.

Quite possibly. It makes sense to create a featurette out of the extra material and market it as a tie-in with next year's Descendants 3.

A new trailer has been released. According to Oh My Disney, the short is only going to be 10 minutes long. It airs on September 28th on the Disney Channel.

The subtitle has been changed from "A Descendants Story" to "A Descendants Short Story".

The short aired last night. Did anyone catch it? Disney released the music video and the behind-the-scenes video of the song featured in the short "Stronger" online.

I didn't see it and I wish I had recorded it but I forgot when it was coming on.

I got so darn upset that UTS turned out to be little more than a music video that I posted a rant on my YouTube channel. I drop an F-bomb in this video, so (apologies in advance, but) you have been warned.

Don't get me wrong, the song was all right--better than most of the covers the Descendants series have brought us (I'm looking at you, Be Our Guest!), but the fact that the video was falsely advertised to be a story-based bridge between D2 and D3 was what really brought my blood pressure up!
