I imagined that show hadn't been successful because I hadn't heard anything about it again. Yes, that's what I meant, Disney could've given her a project to help her launch her acting career.

Yes but only two or three of them.

That’s a regret— I wish I could have seen Jodi Benson sing Ariel at the Hollywood Bowl... Maybe she will do it once more one day.

At the 2016 Hollywood Bowl production, they performed She's In Love, The World Above Reprise, Her Voice, and If Only.

I was listening to the Hairspray Live soundtrack (the one with Chenoweth and JHUD from a couple of years ago) yesterday, and it made me wonder if this production will get a soundtrack, too? I imagine its music may turn out better than the live-action film so far.

I'm really interested to hear Auli'i sing Part of Your World.

Stamos will be Chef Louis while Phillips will be Prince Eric.

Yaaaay!!! They look...well, Stamos and Eric look good.

The costumes are horrid, but it's a live show. That's about what I expected. I'm so looking forward to Cravalho and Latifah's song performances! Stamos is a good pick for Chef Louie, too.

Queen Latifah looks the best. I don't expect much from this either in terms of production values.

I agree that Latifah looks the best. I still wouldn't mind her in the live-action film if Melissa McCarthy hasn't been confirmed.

What a waste of her talents. Maybe they’ll actually cast her in whatever live musical they do next.

I suppose they could've cast her as Carlotta or one of the sisters. A genderbent Sebastian could've been fun.
